I'm celtic fan... but just want comment on part ABERDEEN . They have some really great players now up top and now shinnie in mid Park.. all they need is decent really strong CH AND I THINK ABERDEEN WOULD BE FORCE ..
I think their mentality will be more of an issue than quality. But even saying that, Hearts are a better team and much bigger club than Aberdeen.

@@barryohara2099 Aside from the Ferguson era at Aberdeen they have achieved very little. In the last 40 years they have won a total of one scottish league cup, in comparison Hearts have won 3 scottish cups, while going through several years of financial hardship (Their own fault right enough). For a one city team (and a city that had/has money in it as well) Aberdeen have massively underachieved. There are a few Aberdeen fans involved with the bbc so they push the narrative that Aberdeen are this big club but they aren't, a top travelling support but that's about it these days.

@@barryohara2099 Fair enough. I think that the rangers and celtic game exposed a mental fragility in Aberdeen that will stop them even getting close to the top 2. The games against Hearts will be huge. I think that Hearts have a little bit more money to spend because of Europe this season so will add in this window (already got a japanese striker and a centre half on loan from Bournemouth). They are 3rd just now having been decimated by injuries and having 8 more games than the rest of the league (aside from celtic and rangers) playing in europe.
It's easy to argue that Aberdeen, Hearts and Hibs have underachieved for large spells.

Answers on a postcard please.........HH
