  • I describe what it is like to spend one FULL day at the Wat Pa Tam Wua Buddhist Monestary in Northern Thailand. In this meditation retreat I learned to stay more calm, disciplined, and live a more mindful life. I stay at this Monestary for 10 days practicing meditation 3 times per day on a scheduled basis. I share what a day looks like and things that I've learned.

    I love your video Jose, thank you for sharing. I have one question. Were the monks and others okay with you filming? I'll be going here next month and would love to document my experience but I'm always apprehensive about having my phone out at these things :)

    Can I have my own meals many times during day if I visiting this place? Does I must doing all pratices or not? Can I have digital things like mobile, laptop and more...?

    Thanks for sharing this experience! We're going to Chiang Mai for a month in January 2025, and been trying to find a good yoga retreats. Might give this one a try for a couple nights!

      Yes, many people go there for shorter stays. You can do 3-10 day stays.

      @@rojatripit’s a sanskrit word used often by buddhists. usually means something like good or well done!
