I'll go with Yamaha anytime...i currently own a Yamaha...not a single issue in 4 years and 47000kms....
In this case the Pulsar 250 is way smoother and more refined than the FZ25.
This is from experience, I have ridden both bikes and the Pulsar to my surprise has a more refined engine. Way smoother

@@69yearsago25 I know A Japanese bike is suppose to be smoother and more refined. That's what they are known for. But not the Fz25. Most Japanese bikes are smoother and more refined. But I have test ridden both these bikes. The Fz25 vibrates a lot at higher rpm while the BAJAJ doesn't vibrate as much. I was surprised. But that's what I learned from my experience

Hey bro it's a city commuter bike.
And not a Revving machine like Duke or pulsar.
Fz25 has great INITIAL and MID- RANGE POWER which a city commuter bike needed.
So, it's a OBVIOUSLY it would give vibration at top end (above mid - range).
And in Pulsar they have great in mid and top end performance, So, don't vibrate much like FZ25.
I m the owner of fzs25 bs6 .milege is 35 to 43 .it perform really well .In hilly area there is no lag at all .when I tour in fz25 meghalaya and arunachal pradesh it really gives me wonderfull performance .comfort is good as well sai pillon also .free service cost is 1100 .paid service cost is 1600

Engine Refinement and engine reability is the BIGGEST MAIN POINT we should look in a bike.
YAMAHA is well known for it in ALL AROUND THE WORLD...!!!!!
So, i have choosen YAMAHA FZ25 instead of Bajaj N250.
And it's been 5 YEARS RUNNING and i never regret on my decision.
I'm HAPPY with her smooth riding.

पहले यामाहा FZ25 को कोई पूछता तक नही था, लोग MT या R15 की तरफ भाग जाते थे, और FZ25 की क्वालिटी की काफी बुराई किया करते थे। लेकिन जब से बजाज ने 250 वाली पल्सर क्या लांच की, सारे लोग बिलों से बाहर निकल आये और अब FZ25 इतनी बढ़िया बाइक हो गयी जैसे इससे बढ़िया कोई बाइक ही न हो। हद है !!!

It lack 6 th gear, it have small instrument cluster. It have less torque and hp compared to other 250's. For some it's head lamp looks weird. Ride it once bro. It's a drug u will get addicted to. Superb smooth . Underrated machine.
True. It has one of the best 250 single engines in the market. So smooth and refined. It is way smoother than the FZ25 at higher rpm. Clearly a better engine.

But the Bajaj has a smoother and more refined engine as compared to the Yamaha. So this breaks that notion. And every Japanese bikes aren't necessarily smoother than Indian or even European counterparts

Go with Yamaha you won't regret.
I think U said the opposite - mind goes with FZS and heart goes with Pulsar 250. It's my case too 😅 I guess FZS is better when it comes to safety, built quality and refinement..but Pulsar is in for better looks, availability of parts, cheaper maintenance and most importantly - the feel. I was all set for FZS even against Apache 200 4V but as soon as F250 was launched..I have been confused ever since

@ankitgupta Yamaha FZS is also a 250cc bike and I was referring to Apache 200 RTR 4V which is somewhat comparable in torque and power
Don't even compare a japanse engine with that of a Bajaj.. you can make the engine fast, with high bhp but can't come even close to the refinmnt and the smoothness of Yamaha..
Where do you think bajaj got the engine technology from? Initially from kawasaki and now they use ktm's
Yamaha is bettter than Kawasaki & KTM in terms of engine refinement.

You forget to talk about the backlights on handles in the Pulsar.
The biggest disappointment in pulsar is it's single channel abs
Not necessary dual abs as condition to indian road
For many better console matters than Dual Channel ABS.

Yamaha bikes are great, but this particular fz250 is not great in terms of speed. Pulsar feels powerful than riding fz250. Yeah after checking only I am speaking, even I am a lover of Yamaha. I even know that worlds best sounding car Lexus LFA it's engine designed by Yamaha(and that's my favorite car).
But in this comparison I like pulsar 250
It's good bro in terms of speed u can easily cruise at the speed of 120 km in highways and that is enough...
I think fz25 has also vibration issue at higher rpm as considered to other yamaha bikes like fzs, mt and r15

Pulsar has a better engine, more refined and smooth at high rpm. So I will honestly say, Pulsar has a better engine than the Yamaha. Isn't that surprising? But that is the truth.

if you want a bike for commuting, Highway Ride and touring and low maintenance cost go for FZ25,it looks more mature than N250 and gives more comfort to you as well as to the pillion.

Fz25 is better value for money, dual channel abs & wider rear tyre, at almost same cost. Rest features betn the 2 bikes are similar.

We can see even some 1st generation pulsar but fz ? Naa.. Yamaha , suzuki, bmw like brands can produce best costly bike with more cc, high bhp which in my opinion isn't a big task as u take 10-20 lakhs for it so offering quality isn't a huge task but producing good bike with low price isn't easy nd thts where Bajaj is at no 1.. buy bajaj nd get max satisfaction

I bought a passion in 2005 and just after it starts vibrating too much, i switch to pulsar 150 in 2007 and it's engine got seized within warranty period and that's one year, i hope you got it what kind of rough rider i am, then i bought a yamaha fazer in 2009 and i am still using it from more then a decade, while purchasing it, i thought I'll try honda next if it got any kind of engine's issue, but even after getting serviced only twice a year, it can still reach 125 and in winters also it needs just a slight touch on self button to start 💥 talking about vibrations, any pillion can't even tell on any speed, that bike's engine is on or off once i stop accelerating it!!

Guys I'm honestly confused between MT-15 and FZs25 which one should I choose?? I will be using it for Highways and few City rides. Which one should I go with? Should I compromise power and pillion comfort and go with mt or should I compromise with a little mileage and go with Fz? Help me guys I'm really confused or should I rather wait for 2022 MT ?

Fz for better torq in lower nd middle rpm. Mt if you like going to the redline. On highway at 100plus fz will gove better mileage

pillion seat matters a lot.
Fz25 will haunt u on a highway ride if you wish to hit the limits.. FZ25 s a sad moment in top ends... Else its filled with power and insane stability around the corners at high speed !! There is no doubt in that.. You can ignore the speedometer - I never had on my RX100 !!! Owning a bike is for performance and not speedometer looks or content. U get all the basic info that you need on it.
Its awesome in city rides with massive performance where u can perform zig-zags in traffic with immense power and confidence... There is no lag or anything.
If Yamaha tunes the engine in terms of top-end and a little high bhp and a 6 gear - I bet there is no competition !!!
