Tenho 50 anos de idade e ainda hoje jogo vídeo game, PS4 e um PSP! Comecei com o Odissey (da Philips ) e com o Atari (da Magnavox) lá nos anos 80! Mas, até hoje, minhas melhores lembranças ficam com os jogos do Master System e do Mega Drive! E o Sonic, para mim, não tem igual. É pura nostalgia!

The boss theme was MADE to be played by an orchestra. Also, that ending part of Marble Zone gave me chills.
So was Scrap Brain.
Final Zone was 100% percent an orchestral piece.
The tempo was so off Vs the game though... Why rush through it...

Most of the current generation have absolutely no idea how legendary and important sonic 1 was to gamers.
God wow not got a dry eye as a child sonic gave me great joy through a difficult child hood. Seeing this made me so emotional thanks for this moment as well we grow up but when I see sonic inside I'm still that little lad.

I remember walking around the mall as a kid when they had Sega and Nintendo stands so you can play 5 min demos. I heard this magical music coming from somewhere, turnes out it was the Sonic Demo playing Green Hill Zone on the title screen. Still one of the most magical game soundtracks to this day.
I remember shopping with my mother one summer day and I saw Sonic the Hedgehog at the mall not expecting it to be out yet. I was a bit short as I had not counted on taxes but my mum was kind enough to give me the difference and treated me to lunch at the food court.
This was something of a rarity for me. When we got home I was able to enjoy running around the early zones of the game for a few hours before the rest of the family would get home and it would need to be turned off for dinner, news shows and then shared with my siblings.
Simpler times and warm memories.
