This method works great for fur , feathers , grasses and really any fine lines and details you'd like to preserve . all without ruining your brushes !       It's perfect for fine lines and details . In fact just last night I used mine to mask out the vains and details inside leaves . I will say the quality of the dip pen matters. And you may want a variety of nib sizes to achieve a variety of marks and effects. Best of luck ☺️
