What people overlook and don't realize is that when luffy indiscriminately released his haoshoku haki in marineford where both enemies and allies were affected is that buggy remained unaffected signifying that he himself has a strong dormant willpower, even gladino/mr.3 was not able to keep his senses.
Buggy can use ryou as well... When he wreck the ice berg from the top falling... Remember ? I guess buggy hide his power 🤣 mihawk also can't cut him with black sword which is grade 12 greatest weapon

Buggy being an Emperor makes sense from a in universe perspective. He was known to the world as a Dangerous pirate who was part of Roger's crew but decided to lay low due to the Goverment going against anyone who had a relation to Roger. Then when the time was right he broke out from Impel Down (which it's something that rarely if ever happens) helping Straw Hat Luffy mount a prison riot and the escape of hundreds of dangerous prisoners, many of said prisoners ended becoming part of Buggy's crew. Then during the Submit War, Buggy assisted Straw Hat and also revealed himself to the World who saw him as someone crazy enough to challenge Whitebeard. Later during near of the War after helping Luffy escape from the Admirals might he returned to settle things when he bickered with Red Hair Shanks with no fear and even declaring that he would do War against him only to then decide to work with him one more time revealing they were like brothers when they were part of the Roger Pirates. Then Shanks and Buggy helped stop the World Government and scared Blackbeard away ending the War. After said events he was given the possition of Warlord of the Sea and in those 2 years he became a power broker in the Underworld being second to Joker with a big group of mercenaries under his wing. When Joker was defeated by Straw Hat the power vacuum was filled by Buggy becoming the number one supplier of Arms and Man power in the world with a crew powerful enough to determine the fate of nations. Then when the Warlord system was ended Buggy and his crew survived the attack by the Marines and therefore showing to the Goverment and the World that Buggy is indeed a Emperor of the Seas.

Exactly the right points.
My theory on why he became an emperor might also be that during the attack on him, the other warlords came together though in different locations but the Marines and WG placed all the credits on Buggy. In a theory to the marines and WG, the warlords were under Buggy but in reality, that wasn't the case.
A Detail that I found interesting is the way Luffy is drawn. His reactions seem way more cartoonish than before which hints at his base form being now more in line with his awakening, possibly changing the way his other gears are portrayed as well. Also his smile being as wide as it was during the chapter could hint at joyboys influence over him

Since awakening shows that you’ve mastered and gained a relationship with the power of your devil fruit I’m guessing the properties it can exert on your base form increase. Mythical zones tend to have an effect on ur normal form too. Like kaido has thick skin in his base form or how marco has amazing healing properties in his base.

Actually Buggy being a Yonko makes sense. Luffy accidentally made him single , biggest most powerful mercenaries supplier. He can dictate war and its direction in any state which is in active war. Luffy made Doflamingo, Big Mom, Kaido all disappear from any active roles in story. Buggy is defacto the most dangerous pirate in new world after BB as he is almost impossible to move according to our expectations.

A theory that I've heard is the surviving CP0 member was very disillusioned by their mission in Wano, as the Elderstars had effectively ordered them to die. Not only did one get ordered to piss off Kaido by interrupting his duel, but then told them to kidnap a crew mate off the Captain that had just defeated Kaido.
Given the history surrounding that particular action, I would not be surprised if the remaining CP0 member just went 'Screw This, I'm Out'a Here!'.

What i also liked about the 3B Berry Bounties for all three captains is that combined, they have a higher bounty that the combined bounties of Big Mom (4,388,000,000 Berry) and Kaido (4,611,100,000 Berry). To be precise, Kid, Law and Luffy are now 900,000 Berry more valuable than the two old Emperors

No its strange cause luffy had already a 1.5 million bounty, has a fleet of 5000 man, then he solo’s kaido, and has a 10x better crew then the both of them. So there should be never a reason for a 3 billion bounty for him. The only logical reason is so there i less attention to luffy.
I kinda felt like the Yonko lineup feels like the Gorosei are trying to predict the person “who Roger is waiting for”. Shanks and Buggy since they never got to go to the final island and Blackbeard and Luffy since their DF’s true nature is something only they most likely are aware of.

Kid first appearance till udon prison makes me like him a lot based on his design and personality but the more oda show his power and technique, he is just plain BORING.
I feel like people are overlooking a pretty big deal in this chapter. It seems like Luffy is officially able to manipulate his body however he wants without having to be in gear 5. We’ve only ever seen eyes popping out like that in gear 5 and the way he was able to wrap his arm around Kid wasn’t something he’s been able to do before. I think gear 5 just allows him to apply that to others but right now it seems like he will constantly have the free manipulation of his body which might change how we see gear 2-4
From Greenbull's past brief appearances he seemd a nice guy, but now he reveals to be a brutal person. I noticed that when we saw him in the past there was a strong sunlight, but the recent fight against Kaido's pirates happened at night. Since his powers are plant-based, I think his character might change according to the sunlight: sunny and happy by day, cold and dark by night. This might also explain why his hair seem to be shorter now: they might grow longer only by day to catch more light.
Yonko doesn’t necessarily mean power. It’s being able to lead a separate system then the WG. Power just is a easy motivator to make people follow you. Buggy may not be powerful but even if it’s just a joke he can definitely lead.

agreed. Buggy's delivery service is/was the top provider of mercenaries in the new world during the time skip. Only Hajrudin switching loyalties taking the giants with him and the arrival of the Germa66 could even pose a question to that.
And with Doffy and Kaido out of the picture, he's probably the most influential person within the criminal underworld as well.
Oden's dad being alive was such a big reveal but it's kinda concerning that he said he doesn't intend to reveal himself to his grandchildren (momo and hiyori)makes you think that he won't teach momonosuke how to write and read ponegliphs..

I feel like when the time comes where the WG managed to hide Luffy's initial, it will just become "Strawhat Luffy". They might remove the Monkey D. in order to hide his D. And I could also say that this is applicable to Shanks and Dragon. Remember? The navy doesn't know the surname of Dragon. Therefore, they hid the D. alongside his surname. This could also be applicable to Shanks, instead of Rocks D. Shanks, it became "Red-haired Shanks". They only hide the initial once that certain figure managed to become a big shot. Luffy has his initial D. on his bounty but because he's a big shot now, the WG is doing their thing on hiding the initial D.

I would like to think that the "lower than expected bounty" for luffy was due to world government trying to avoid giving Luffy too much attention. I have reason to believe this because they also attempted to remove the D from his name and failed but it seems like they were able to alter the story enough to have people believe that it was a complete team effort all the way through. That being said, the world probably also believes that Luffy orchestrated the whole ordeal similar their perception of whole cake island, thus, why Luffy was the only one highlighted as the new emperor. I look forward to seeing them catch up with the events in the world that happened in their absence.
Side note: Zoro and Nami have not seen or heard from Buggy since Loguetown. I can't wait to see their reaction to Buggy's new status.

It's not Luffy's D from name they were trying to remove. They said to stop the distribution of the wanted poster as it was already printed before removing the poster so it could be someone else maybe Buggy🤔
Ryokugyu’s powers can reach an humongous versatility. One Piece’s flora is really rich, as shown to us by Usopp, with plants that bite, throw poison, overgrown in vines, acts as shields and sprinkle water. This guy can give a real fierce fight, maybe with Sanji.
I think the biggest reason Luffy became a Yonko over the other two is not only did he beat Kaido, but he also has his own fleet in the Grand Fleet, whereas Kidd and Law only have their one crew each. Not only that but Luffy has claimed territory under his protection in Fishman Island and Dressrosa. Definitely puts him in Yonko territory
I like the theory that the government set Luffy’s bounty even with Law and Kid as a propaganda move. Same with elevation of Buggy. It’s a way of minimizing Luffy’s threat
Another coincidence: Volume #25 was released 2002 and as Oden predicted "20 years into the future someone will come and take down Kaido". So Oda either intentionally picked 20 years or it was absolute luck.

Although we only saw the 3 captain's bounty posters, it is pretty dope that CP0 was able to capture the photos of the pirates in powerful and meaningful poses. For them to actually do that in the heat of the battle is pretty insane.
Kidd and Katakuri are two of my favorite characters. I would love to see a feud between the Kidd and Big Mom pirates. Kidd Wiping out the rest of the Big Mom pirates after they come to get revenge would give Kidd a way to increase his bounty off screen when he goes his separate ways. That way he won't behind too much when Luffy increases inevitably his bounty and starts to pull away.
It could even be a cover story.
Remember also Blackbeard was called Emperor after taking down Whitebeard, Marcos crew and some of Whitebeards territories, so the increase to 2 bill + was not only for killing Whitebeard since he just make the final blow, WB was literally close to death at that moment.
i think he got that 2 bil not for beating WB but for already having a powerful crew and also being one of the first to be able to use more than 1 devil fruit and one if those fruits is WB's which is also a extremely dangerous fruit

Realistically. It feels what luffy has done is greater than teach. Luffy smack talked big mom, stopped the smile fruit manufacturing, infiltrated dressrosa, dethroned doffy, liberated dressrosa and escaped an admiral, he then sneaks into big moms territory, escapes her prison, copies her poneglpyh, destroys the wedding, beats katakuri, and then the wano stuff. Tbh this feels right. Plus Blackbeard kinda became a yonko and has been laying low since then it seems

One thing bugged me about the former chapter where Momo said that he would decide against opening Wano's borders. The real stopper for entering Wano is the whirlpools and crashing tides. If *that* is what prevents the WG from entering Wano en masse, then what if *that* is Pluton. Wano as a whole is ignorant to Devil Fruits, they could also be completely unaware that the ability for them to isolate an entire island is due to an Ancient Weapon.

All of the admirals seem to represent different ways of "justice" and for GB his seems to be "mechanical justice." 10:45 when you mention that it can build entire islands my brain instantly thought of the island Ussop was in during the time skip. I feel like he made that island so he could eat to his desire but later joined the marine and turned the island into a trap like plant so nobody but he could eat their without being punished.[Dark but could also be possible he sucked the life force out of a beautiful woman and placed it into the island turning her into the trap plant-island] Also kinda explains why he hasn’t eaten in so long. if you think about it, kaido and big mom's bounty together is a 8.99 billion berri. so defeating them made luffy, law, and kid collectively 9 biliion makes the most sense.
Theory: Shanks went to see the Gorosei not to talk about Luffy or Teach but to talk about Buggy. He told the WG that Buggy is a man of his calibre and the fact that Buggy had already escaped Marine capture pushed the WG to make Buggy one of the new yonkos

I think the world government gave Luffy the same bounty as the other two because they didn't want the world to know that luffy was too strong. We can see that because it seems that they wanted to remove the D from Luffy's name and change the picture of the wanted poster. So basically they are just trying to hide Luffy's true worth and power.

Some ideas i found interesting:
- The bountys of of big mom and kaido (combine) was 8.9B berries and the bounties combine of luffy, kid and law is 9B berries.
- this means that pluton is from wano? So the plans of pluton in some way manage to get out...?
- i found interesting that the new admirals, in some way, resembles a "path of justice" as the older admirals. Fujitora with aokiji and green bull with akainu. Maybe the new future admiral will be consider "lazy", "slow" or "unclear" as borsalino (we are looking at you coby).
- buggy just became the biggest weapon trader of the one piece world. I saw a fan art of the awaken of the df of buggy. That could be epic if really happen.
- sabo appears in the page were the bountys were revealed. The image of him in a tower? if im not mistaken.
- the drums that appears in the celebration looks very similar to the drums of enel, only with 2 droplets (i think thats what it is?) instead of 3.
- when luffy sees he is the new yonkou, the eyes pop out like when it got introduce gear 5. Is this permanent now? 😂 i don't get it.

About pluton, the blueprint's purpose is to counter the original pluton. So i guess the original pluton would fall on the wrong hand and franky would build another pluton to counter it.

I also think that the Gorosei really didnt want to make luffy look more special due to the nika thing so they took the two of best worlds. They acknowledged luffy's accomplishment but hid him in two others so it doesnt stand out because all of them taking down the two yonkou together is better looking for the gov. than luffy taking down one and law/kidd taking the other. Love your vids man, and I don't want to come off as rude but the music was a little loud in the beginning on this one. Kinda overtaking your voice. Almost completely agree. Just an observation: I really don't think the WG is the one who bestows pirates the Emperor title. The title itself probably was just a tabloidesque press invention at the beginning, so it was probably just Morgans who named the two new yonkos. It is bizarre to think the WG would "acknowledge" anything a pirate accomplishes, they are not judges in a big pirate contest. Also, let's not forget bounties are not a medal or something, they are a means for the WG to get rid of pirates.

After a 3 on 2 battle, the fact that luffy kid and laws bounties are all 3 billion it puts there total group bounty just a bit higher than big mom and kaidos combined. Also 150 chapters ago luffys bounty was 1.5 billion so 150 chapters later luffy gets 1.5 billion added to his bounty.

I think that making Luffy, Kid, and Law’s bounty 3B sets up this last saga nicely, it could give the straw hats more reason to kick it into high gear to make it to reach Laugh-tale first. They’re all at 3B bounty, all at Wano, and all know about the poneglyphs. I can’t help but feel like this last saga is going to feel like a race to the one piece between the three captains. It is sure to be an interesting!

My issue is that luffy beat kaido kinda entirely solo while big mom had 2 overpowered guys after her which should have given him higher bounty and since kaido is subjectivity stronger than big mom/higher bounty and rip king/queen

People sleep on the fact the Luffy w/o being a Yonko had a huge navy behind him that we've yet to see the full combined power of. that, plus the acts in WCI/Wano are what set him head and shoulders above kidd/law who as far as we know do NOT have a massive fleet under their command.

things I noticed:
1. Kaido's plus Big mom's bounties were 8.999.100.000 so divided by 3 you get roughly the 3 billion each
2. there is a panel with the looney eyes, hinting at that the new power is accessible
3. if momo is poseidon, zunesha could be easily be taken as a ship
4. I didn't get the part where the government says something like 'we told you to remove the D from the poster', what's the point if they are talking about luffy's poster. I thought we were going to see the D in law's one after that line

My thoughts & opinions of the chapter:
1. As soon as Luffy & the others see the image of their captain's new wanted poster, would this be a perfect opportunity for the SH to learn that Luffy's Devil Fruit is a lot more powerful than just a goofy Paramicia Type? After all, the recent events we've encountered until now only made it more obvious that the Gum Gum Fruit (or Human Human Fruit - Model: Nika) is way too dangerous to be taken lightly, and although it is a little too much of a burden for him to handle, I strongly believe that Luffy should fully understand the seriousness of this reveal!
2. I can understand why Sukiyaki doesn't want to come clean to Momo or the rest of the citizens that he is still alive. But I can't help but think if the people really blames Sukiyaki for what Orochi did since it was partly the Kouzuki clan's fault that got them in that mess?
3. I don't know for sure if it will be in the 1st chapter after the hiatus, but will we get the chance to see the Pluton for the 1st time? If so, I wonder if Franky should be involved since he use to have the original blueprint of the Ancient Weapon and still has it memorized?
4. I don't know if the display of Ryokugyu's powers is a confirmation of him being the same a Luffy's Sun God power or not, but I do wonder if this is what the Admiral's awakening truly looks like or is just similar to Crocodile's sand powers?
5. I might be wrong, but could it be that after the last time we saw Buggy he had a moment similar to Usopp during Dressrosa? You know where he told the Tontata tribe that what he said to them were lies but ended up becoming the hero they needed. Maybe the same thing happened to Buggy where he overcame his cowardly ways, and became the powerful capitan that his subordinates believed?
6. Before the chapter, I have ofen believed that Buggy would most likely blame Luffy for indirectly helping Fujitora get his wish in abolishing the Warlord systems. But after the revelation that he is one of the 2 new emperors, what if Buggy actually thanked the SH for this outcome, even though some of them won't be too happy about it?
I wonder what Franky will do with pluton, maybe he will take its part to upgrade Sunny Go?

Though i doubt it, i think greenbull could still be a good guy and be ruthless to pirates due to the damages and suffering the caused in (presumable) his home land and might see ruffy as just another pirate here to oppress it.
His character doesn't seem to hate the beast pirates personally though, being more concerned for Akainus approval.
He might be shallow justice or something around keeping up appearances which in a way connects him again to east asia, but more so china than japan.

Very nice video! I have another reason why it makes sense to give them an equal bounty, from the governments perspective, which sees each of them as a young Pirate captain who wants to prove them selfs and want to become king of the pirates, as such giving them the same bounty but putting luffy ahead of them in terms of the titel could raise tensions between those three and make their alliance more fragile.
Never doubted Lord Buggy for a second. Countless others as well as myself knew Buggy would become an emperor.

Greenbull is gonna clash with the crew so I wanna know who’s gonna take him head on. If Luffy takes him out it’ll do well to show a new and clear power scale. Luffy has yet to take out an admiral on his own so it’d be interesting. I like the idea of him not struggling with Greenbull much & more like Greenbull becoming aware of how absurdly strong Luffy is now. I’m also completely disappointed in the whole Wano arc, how Big mom got portrayed and defeated, the way Luffy’s and Kaido’s fight went and even the last chapter that there was no big news around the world about how luffy defeated the strongest creature in a one on one… even Luffy destroying big moms castle had a better hype than this, it might come after the 1 month break but I doubt it

Buggy probably found Captain Johns Treasure. As we know Luffy gave him the Map in impel down, the place buggy got in while trying to find Captain Johns treasure in the first place. Captain John was Part of the Xebec Pirates and his treasure could be more than just Gold or Diamonds, maybe he found the ancient weapon uranus or mythical Devil fruits from the God Valley incident where Kaido got his fruit.

My theories from this arc:
1. CP0 are tasked specially for keeping an eye on the Straw Hats. Stussy could be the one who leaked the news. The one who got hit by Kaido could be somewhat connected to Luffy (perhaps he tried saving him)
2. Buggy becoming Yonko could perhaps be related to either he was Xebec's child or Shanks blamed him as the person of prophecy (Joyboy).
3. Greenbull's df would be something about the Jack and Bean Stalk type of plant. Despite the difference of the World Tree (Elbaf), he could be connected with it
Also, the CP0 who attacked Luffy could be the person who disrupted the radio signals.
For theory #2, Do you think the person the gorosei was referring to with having a “D” in their name was Buggy not Luffy then?
Also for Theory #3, Jack and the Bean Stalk would totally make sense!! Since they would probably be visiting Elbalf and Usopp being so gullible he would probably fall for some fake magic beans.

so i have a theory that the act 3 tragedy will be coming soon. with admiral green bull on his way to the straw hats, and with everything seemingly going well for them, it would be quite a twist if they were forced to fight again, but them not being at full strength, one of the straw hats (maybe luffy or robin) gets captured.
Kaido and Big Mom had a much bigger influence, territories all over the New World. They have so much established. Luffy, Kid, and Law may have defeated them but they haven’t fully established themselves yet.
You missed the Ponegliph n the back during the conversation between Robin and Sukiyaki. Tbf I missed it when I read the chapter for the first time. But I don't think its a road ponegliph though its not a dark enough, I am curious what does it say. My fav part was the new Yonkos reveal especially Buggy. I look forward what has Oda-sensei has planned for that.

Honestly, If Mihawk wasn't a warlord and gathered his own crew, he'd be a really good candidate to become an emperor. He's the strongest swordman and a pirate that is close to the emperor, red-haired Shanks. If he had a crew which is easy for him to get as he's really influencial with just his title alone, He could've been a really cool emperor.

We seemed to forget an important detail, I've recently caught up with one piece so i remember this detail, in impel down.. luffy gave buggy his arm band which he recieved from nami which buggy later on reveals to be the key to a treasure.. maybe that itself is a relevant threat?. I don't remember it right but i am sure it was one of the treasures of the Rox pirate members . Please fact check this
