Very helpful Gaurav, Thanks please make moresuch videos..... Wish your video hit millions of viewers
Congratulations and very nice you shared your experience.
I hope someday to be good enough to work their. They are for me the sort of pinnacle of programming.
Thank you for sharing your experience
Do the coding rounds of interview remains same tough for 2/3 years experienced people as it is for fresher?
I think the best way is to get into Google knowing someone inside and getting a referral will get you a better chance to get hired. That is why is good to know people and have good communication
Your interview seemed way easier than mine even though mine was for a recent grad position.
Now I received offer for Google interview and feeling exciting. Thanks for your sharing, and Congratulations for your success!
Thanks, very insightful...

is it neccesary that we have a good spoken in English for google interview?

Would you be comfortable in sharing how much percentage hike did you get by joining Google? Was it a substantial amount like 3x 4x or similar to any other company giving around 40% 50%?
Basically whether or not one can expect a significant hike?
I think that might depend upon market condition, competing offers and interview performance.
Mine was more in the % range that you mentioned!

Hello sir,
How can I submit my ideas to google.
With all due respect, may I ask if there is some differences of approved percentages from hiring committee between tech and non tech position? Seems non tech is a bit easier to get approved. I am now going to HC for account manager
I don't know myself. And I am not sure if it's a public figure.

Thanks for sharing ur experience , As you applied for Mobile developer role, which language you did code and for system design didn't they ask for mobile frontend design questions or it was more distributed system that requires to have good understanding of Backend system . I am a web frontend developer for last 5 yrs and i use javascript should i start learning java and prepare for system design related to BE systems as well ?
System design: Distributed system design and one needs to have very good understanding of backend systems.

I believe that Google does both: hire for specific roles and hire for the entire company. There are some skills Google is looking for that just aren't that common among the population of software engineers.
What are those skills which aren't common among the population ?

Sir is 10 months enough for google i have just started learning dsa i am in 3 rd year, or jab apko koi referal mange ga to aap kya dekhoge referal dene k liye
Hello Himanshu
Don't call me 'Sir' please :).
Yes, I assume that you can easily give most of your time to preparation as you are in college. 10 months is more than enough for google preparation.
I will create a separate video on the preparation side.
But for starters, make sure your DSA fundamentals are clear. Start participating in online coding competitions on codeforces or some other online judge. You can also cover interview-bit as well. They have got some good questions.
Also, cracking the coding interview book is quite a recommendation.

Hey Gaurav, i've one question as i think based on your experience you might know - if everything goes well approximately after how many weeks they give offer letter with pay information? i had round 1 on last week of april, got to know its cleared after two weeks, round 2 was on last week of may, got to know its clear after 4 weeks and now there are couple more rounds planned. Is process really this slow? Due to covid they are conducting all rounds virtually.. And i've applied for HW role.
Yes. Process can be really slow these days.

What is salary for network engineer???
Congrats on the offer! Can you please shar what would be the best way to prepare for the android stuff?
I would say the best way to prepare for android is to get a lot of significant experience. If you are applying for android specific role @ google, you might expect 1 android interview which will most likely be an android app design round where you will be asked to design (& code some parts) of an android app.
You can only do it correctly in an interview if you have developed 3-4 apps and put on play store. Mentioning "play-store" because the apps should be production quality so that you have a deeper understanding of why you did what you did.
So, build apps & try to reason every new technology you use in the app. For example, if you are using kotlin, co-routines, hilt, other jetpack components; you should be well versed with the reasons of using these. You should know what would happen if you don't use these.
@100 GB Thanks! That makes a lot of sense. I've been an android dev for more than 7 years and have developed multiple apps that are on the play store and have millions of users, should not have a problem in this round, but we will see (fingers crossed)

@@100GB I initially started my career with Android but then moved to Flutter as per the project requirements and since Flutter is comparatively new I feel it might not reflect my true "relevant" experience to the big companies. Bhiya can u pls tell that exactly how many questions of dsa u solved???
And which subjects of computer science are important for rapid fire questions????
And also which sites u actually used to practice questions????
Pls bhiya, pls answer
I will be highly obliged 🤗
1. I don't have a count. But almost all questions from Cracking the coding interview Book and some contests on codeforces. What I will suggest is that if you feel you lack in certain topics. Just pick that problem set ini geeks for geeks and sweep it entirely - like I did for dynamic programming.
2. For rapid fire questions: DSA only!
@@100GB Do they ask questions from DBMS,OS subjects or just DSA

Have you tried reaching out to google recruiters with publicly available emails on linkedin? This seemed to work for me. You could just write an email introducing yourself, your skillset etc and asking if there are any positions they could possibly refer you for. Try to be as polite as possible in the email. Recruiters love that and are pretty receptive for the most part to that.

Hey Gaurav,
Is their vacancy in Google then they hiring for experience with 0-18 month if their is gap in work experience so what can we do for that ... ? They can consider this application what action we can do ...
I don't think that's a problem. You can search for roles at careers.google.com!
What questions do they ask an ETL + big data developer who doesn't have any programming experience
Depends on the role one is applying for.
For SWE, it's mostly DSA + Systems design.
I have been invited for cloud migration consultant role. I have been told that prior cloud experience is not mandatory. Also the role is 70% managerial and 30% coding .
My experience is on ETL informatica, SQL, DWH, hadoop, hive. And I have azure cloud fundamentals certification.
I want to become data scientist, after I want to be part of Google, so. How many employees are there , it is easy?
Hi sir!!now i am in class XII with science.what's should i take next step for being a part of Google Company.Actually this is not my dream , it's my life to get a job in google.plzz help me sir.
Hi S Tech.
Please don't make 'getting a job at google' your life. It is a goal worth chasing but shouldn't be the ultimate goal.
Try to be a good software engineer and everything else is almost secondary. For now, I would say focus on your JEE/NEET entrance. Well, college shouldn't really matter but the sad reality is that it does matter a lot. If not for the tag, it helps a lot in one's personal development because the kind of exposure & environment (peers) you get in the top tier colleges you won't get it anywhere else.
@@100GB Well said. +1!
