For example, someone claiming their marriage lasted only three months, you need to establish whether it was indeed a marriage or a cohabitation and also, how old were they. A few weeks ago I watching a blogger go round Bomas of Kenya and for me the penny dropped.
Before Mzungu came and told us to live together, men and women did not live in the same house. The man had his and the wives had their own. Men and women cannot live under the same roof. I have a friend who is married and they don't live in the same house they have a very happy marriage. They tried living together and they nearly killed each other. Now that fir me makes sense.
