Hessaire MC37M portable Evaporative Air Cooler for 950 sq. ft:
The Hessaire 2,200 CFM Evaporative Cooler is compact in size, pleasing in aesthetics and the performance exceeds coolers of a much larger size. This performance is achieved through expanding air-intake areas to the hi-density XeL50 rigid media. These coolers have 3 media panels instead of a single panel found on most mobile coolers. 3 panels allow more air-intake area and reduce pre-rotation of the air to the prop, which translates into lower static pressure and more efficient air delivery to the prop. The hi-density XeL50 media provides 80 percent more evaporation surface compared to regular density media. This means higher evaporation efficiency and cooler temperatures. Note: This unit is NOT an air conditioner and therefore uses much less energy and saves more on electricity costs. It is best used in dry climates or open spaces. Leave window/door open to limit the rise of humidity and keep better air ventilation in the room.
Patented axial prop is energy efficient and throws cool air farther
Features an oscillating design for maximum cooling
Molded with a polypropylene resin, creating a strong, yet lightweight design
Prop is designed to deliver a hi-velocity of air to you quietly
Ideal for use in outdoor areas, not designed for use in totally enclosed spaces
Direct connect to hose feature to enable constant water supply option to bypass having to fill water tank

This is mainly for a dry areas where there is low humidity. Like Texas or Arizona

Once the tank is filled with water, how do you remove the water from the tank if you decide to empty it quickly?

I wish that you had stated what the difference is between high and low speed.
My experience with fans and evaporative coolers is that usually the difference between high and low speeds is too small to matter. Sometimes one wants a quiet and gentle flow of air but it Is not available because low speed is almost as fast as high speed.

Hi there - will this work well indoors? I just purchased the lower-end model (MC18V) which is supposed to work for a 500 sq ft area but it only succeeded lowering the temp by 3 degress F. I live in AZ - which is dry desert. Also, would this model be too loud if used indoors? Many Thanks!

Swamp Coolers require a low humidity in the air to work. That means this unit will not work well in a place like Florida, Louisiana and many other areas where large bodies of water are near or where it rains regularly leaving high water content in the air on a hot day when all the puddles start to evaporate.
That said, it can't work in an enclosed room. You would saturate the air with humidity from this machine and then you read my very first sentence.
Actual installations of this on homes are usually done in such a way that it brings air from outside, pushes that air through the machine, and then somewhere on the opposite side of the house there's an open window or exhaust. It seems counter intuitive to have hot air from outside blowing through your house, but that's part of what needs to happen for the evaporative cooling effect to even work. It has to be new non-water-saturated air.
This is the same way sweat works. If there's too much humidity in the air, it really doesn't work. It just collects and runs down your face. If there's no humidity in the air, your sweat evaporates more quickly, and that evaporative process is super fast at removing heat.

It’s works fine in Arizona it’s dry air in Arizona, east coast states have very high humidity, u don’t sweat outside in Arizona

@@Sequel7 I have been to Arizona, yes. Did you notice that I didn't mention Arizona in my list of states that it would not work well? I mentioned that for a separate reason to explain for a broader audience and to provide examples. More people than just the original commenter I replied to would see the answer.
