    my biggest investment i bought from Behringer is the Eurodesk MX-9000 in Spring of 2005 and been very very happy with it for home recording and is a great console to train someone who wants to learn mixing for recording or even live sound! Thank you Behringer for making high performance affordable for those of us on a budget wanting to learn the art of prosound by the way my Bass amp is a Behringer and my signal proccessing as well Keep up the Great Work Behringer!

    Great documentary about what goes into behringer, really loved the slant! ive just started using behringer's guitar pedals and was totally floored by the prices as well. I kind found your video while looking for reviews for the Tube Monster. really great that u did this :)

    that wasn an absolutely fantastic video. i love behringer stuff. only started using some of their products about 2 months ago. for the price i paid, i can hardly believe how good their stuff is (an acoustic amp and a couple of effects pedals)

    Great video, I always wondered what it was like in Behringer City, and now I know. I recently bought a Behringer Guitar Link, to help me develop my guitar effects software, and I have to say I'm very happy with it.

    I currently owns a pair of 2031A and a 2091.
    Especially the 2091 is a brilliant Subwoofer for the price, and if setup correctly.
    I foind the assemble quality of the A2031s a bit on the lacking side, since three out of four basreflex ports was not glued in correctly, resulting in plastic vibrating annoyingly around 100-300 Hz. Glued it and is now a fine pair for the price asked.

    @rdmsstudio this is SO true. I've listened to plenty of music coming from studios loaded with the VERY "best of the best" as prices go, and the quality is often shit! Behringer does a great job of providing access to the masses, and the truth is, i'll take a talented enginer in an all-behringer room vs. an average engineer in a "high end" room every single time. Go Behringer!

    In China, and other parts of Asia, it's true that people share dorms close to work and that living is a lot more communal. Personally, I stayed for about 2 months in a village in at a NGO in Thailand and found it a nice to change to living in Australia. I found that people helped each other a lot more whereas in Melbourne, despite the larger amount of people... it feels like everyone is out for themselves. Just my opinion though.

    A MDX2600 compressor: I love it :D
    A MX8000 (aka Mackie 8Bus copy not sold in North-America): Not very good MIC-pre's. Silent but is somewhat harsh in the treble/upper-mid bands.
    A UB1202 Mixer. A LOT of bang for the money, and serves me well in my live-keyboard setup. And the MIC pre's are much better with the MIC's I mentioned before)
    Finally a CT-100 Cable Tester. Brilliant Box :D

    Very interesting video tour. Thanks! I actually use Behringer equipment for live sound support (main power amps and mixing board) and I have found it to work great. Normal working musicians don't get paid enough for over-priced, fancy name brands. This stuff works great four nights a week, week in week out. The fact that most of their stuff now includes switching transformers is particularly nice. Check out the Bluesberry Jam videos if you are interested.

    If you think about the huge volume of Behringer products offered against their product failure rate then I'm sure their products stack up well for the price.

  • @clauzii
    @clauzii Před 15 lety

    This is an awesome video. I'd wish there were more like these from different companies here.
    I would say not ALL behringer products are as good as the competitions lowend-to-midend.
    To beat an Alesis, Lexicon MPX or TC M series on reverbquality is not Behringers strong side.

    "If gear doesn't spec out and is then used by a postal worker to kill people in a Wal-Mart, then heads will roll." lol
    On a more serious note, my church when I was in Alabama had a complete Behringer set up. Mixer, amps, speakers, monitors, fx, compressor, di boxes, all of it Behringer, with exception of the Shure microphones. All of it worked flawlessly for the six years I there. It was a major upgrade from their previous system, which consisted of a karaoke machine and two mics.

    My feeling on Behringer is you get what you pay for. I have some great sounding (the Ultra Harmonizer is amazing) but really chintzily made pedals. That being the case, I keep them at home - away from grime and beer!

  • @basspig
    @basspig Před 15 lety

    I was formerly skeptical about Behringer's products, but I gave one product a try, a B1 mic, and later, a mixer, and now I own their top-end EQ and loudspeaker managers and am about to spring for their flagship mixer. It has no particular sound--it shouldn't. It should just pass the audio as it is, unless of course you want to change it in some way.
    The factory tour demonstrates their total commitment to Capitalism and is a shining example of what it achieves.

    i think behringer products are pretty good stuff with the exception of there guitar effects pedal, cheap plastic case is not very appealing , they cannot touch boss in quality of there effects, but everything else i see is pretty good, just got a 20 track mixer, and its great.

    Part 1 he said that Behringer was for people who did not know any better. The people who commented in favor of Behringer have either been brainwashed by low prices or are just audio num-nuts. People are also saying that Behringer offers features that other products do not offer, where in all honesty Pro Audio is not about little programmed features that make the audio all flashy but a quality, measured and modular mix.
    Probably speaking way above all you professionals here though.

    I just got my shure sm86 condenset mic and my xenyx502 is dead silent the whole mic input line. There was 1000uF cap leaked and I replaced it but still dead silent. Everything else works int the mixer but fucking mic side is piece of crap!

    inanimate objects don't have souls, so your argument is completely pointless. behringer gear works great, everything I've bought does it's job, still works after 10 years, unlike some of my other bits of gear. Well presented though, enjoyed the narration.
