- Come hang out at Disney World's Magic Kingdom with us! We check out the new merch, there's some really cool stuff! We also tried some spooky snacks that are available during regular park hours. We even got lucky enough to see Tron testing and running trains on the track! It was a pretty awesome day all around! We hope you had fun with at Disney today. I've said it before but I love when Tim just wanders around looking at random things. So many people don't take the time to do so and miss so much.
They just announced today that the characters will be wearing their homemade costumes in Disneyland. So mickey in the pumpkin and Minnie as the purple cat. They heard your idea 🤣

Randy Pausch was an imagineer and created Alice software system, he is most notably known for "the last lecture" shortly before he died of cancer. Wildly interesting man, would highly recommend checking out the lecture or book

I saw "The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch, and was so touched that at m next visit to WDW, I sought out that tribute you showed, and spent some quiet time near it, paying him honor, and I remembered to stop for a moment every visit thereafter. Very touching, and quite a legacy. That burger looked pretty decent.

Randy Pausch wrote a book called The Last Lecture before he passed of pancreatic cancer in 2008. I highly recommend reading his book, watching his Ted talk and reading his wife’s book that she wrote after he passed.

Winnie the Pooh in general was very popular in the 1970s. There was a tie-in in merchandising at Sears. Throughout the decade you could purchase Winnie the Pooh branded clothing. It started to wain in the 80s.
Randy Pausch was a Carnegie Mellon professor who lived an incredible life. He passed away from cancer. He gave a lecture titled "Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams" at CMU in 2007. This would be his last lecture. The book, "The Last Lecture", co-written by Randy was based on the lecture given at CMU. One of his dreams was to become a Disney imagineer. While on sabbatical from CMU he did become an imagineer for a year or two. He also helped develop Alice software project which helps create computer animations. I highly recommend looking up the lecture on CZcams and/or reading his book "The Last Lecture".

I agree with your criticism of the clothing sizes for kids...we had to find a new outfit for my little girl (1yo) and had the hardest time.
In Disneyland Anaheim Mickey and Minnie have those costumes. She’s a cat and he’s in Pumpkin ❤️

Disney just posted a picture on Facebook of Mickey in a pumpkin costume and Minnie in the cat costume like the plushies you were looking at! Too bad they don't have the same costumes at MK so it would make sense there too, but they do exist! I got excited and had to share!
I'm very curious about the canopy structure on Tron. Is it just an aesthetic choice? Or is there some benefit to doing an inflated canopy instead of a hard structure?

Randy Pausch is awesome! He wrote an awesome book called the last lecture. He also did a live talk with the Same name. You can find it on CZcams. One of his dreams was to work for Disney. He did it in an usual way. He passed away maybe 10-12yrs ago from pancreatic cancer.

The trademark for Whinnie the Pooh is public domain, probably one the reasons why he is not as prominent in the parks. Also one of the reasons why there is a Whinnie the Pooh horror movie coming out....

Randy Pausch was one of the most inspirational humans ever. He was a professor at CM University and worked with Disney on a number of projects. His most famous work explains this watch the you tube video or read the book of his Last Lecture. Make sure you have some Kleenex handy but it will blow your mind. Enjoy! Love your videos!

For the tron coaster. They even have had rides with real people on it. And with the light at night etc. I feel like the only thing they have to do is train castmembers (which i heard is already happening for at least 4 weeks) and the outside

Lol they had those bear claws July 22 but no sign, I ordered a cat tail and got a bear claw, I was like okay then and I also saw tron running that day so it’s been running for a little now

They were testing TRON the other night all lit up and with test riders. Coaster Studios have video of it. Edit: should have waited because you mentioned the tweet lol. Anyway, they have the video of it at night time with all the light effects.
