Interesting.
I respectfully disagree. You may have gotten a copy that was still not the final production. I received my copy today and it is top notch. The pieces fit together perfectly, the production is gorgeous, and the score track is simple and unique. The rustic art on the player board is so fantastic. This game is probably a 9 for me.
I agree. I just got my copy and everything looks stellar. All the pieces fit perfectly together. I think Tom must have had a prototype or something.
I just opened mine haven’t played it yet. I checked the production well I say they are not perfectly done but I suppose (and I hope!) they are functionable.
Mine is not as bad as Tom one. But there is one piece which has a large crack on a block; and also some are not so perfectly glued together that when you fit two same pieces together they won’t really fit tightly as a cube (well they still do but there will be gaps in the cube)
I have to play it to confirm but to me I say it’s not perfect but should be functionable.
I got mine and I can't complain! Very happy and lovely game.
No, it's just poor quality control.
Saw a lot of reviews complaining about build errors.. guess you got lucky
