My boyfriend went back to the relationship he was in before we met. Now due to this video I understand why. I just couldn't get it how he could go from a perfectly healthy balanced relationship back to a tsunami roller coaster. He even admitted it to me whilst breaking up that maybe he enjoys that ride better then this stable boring relationship we're in. You call it traumabond, I call it toxic. I was sad an upset but let him go and shut the door. What I do find so typical now is that all your videos resonate with his current behaviour. I know he wants me back. Wants to apologise, but my door is kept shut because now, I have trust issues. I know he will eventually go back to her when she snaps her fingers. Best to keep him away from me before the damage is unrepairable.

Oh my. I think you and I should chat. We may have had a similar childhood. It's good that you realize so much now. I used to be filled with such resentment that I had to keep aware of who is healthy and who isn't. I let my guard down in love and than wanted to help or fix someone worse off than myself. Sticky situation to put oneself in.

Thanks so much for your honesty and sharing your life. I can also relate to your stories but went through my worst at an older age (I think). All of this vocabulary and spiritual understanding was still to come. It is a tough road but seems like you are so advanced for your age. I loved your explanation of what a trauma bond is. I sort of knew intuitively but what you said really struck a chord with me! Hang in there, and as you moved on from the first one you will move on from the recent love faster with all of the wisdom you’ve attained ❤

It's funny you say that I'm older and have very recently realised I have abandonment issues which now comes the process of overcoming them . Going back to childhood .
You will eventually overcome this peace.
