- I have wanted to put lighted LED address numbers on my home for some time. We have a dimly lit neighborhood, and its hard for people to see out address. Originally it was beside the exterior light, but I moved them under the light. Delivery drivers still had a hard time finding my house. God forbid by Amazon package or pizza delivery is delayed!
With these new LED numbers from Newanovi, you can see them easily from the street. Ill be getting that pizza on time now!

If you can, I recommend moving the wiring in a junction box so you don't have connected wires floating in your wall, just in case if it sparks it will be in a fire resistant box.

That's the plan when I put the access panel on.
That 3 being just a tad off would bug the crap out of me but still looks great!
It's been fixed. It was off by 1/8". The round bottom doesn't help compared to the flat bottoms of the other 3 numbers.
You did a great job. Definitely a job for a professional like yourself. Reminds of a video where this guy is electrifying and lighting his model train town and I'm like - How the hell is this guy doing this? Turns out he was a master electrician.
It was a little hacky getting it all configured, but it's all buttoned up now. The only thing I don't like is that it's tied to the porch lights. If they are off, so is the address.
Now all I need is your street name and zip code....then we can be BEST FRIENDS! 🤣

Looks awesome! Made my own sign with the 3 dimensional numbers on cedar planks with a steel frame. Now I’m just looking for ideas on how to backlight it! Had I known these pre back lit numbers existed would have just used those lol. Oh well I’m this far! Cheers Daddio 🤘🏼

Fantastic job! Personally, I would of installed the numbers above the garage door, I don't like them under the side light.
Would have been a little trickier with the wiring.
My handyman connected directly to 110. The package didn’t say it required converter. You think it burnt it or should I try with the converter

Nice. But two lights of different color temperatures right next to one another would be a non-starter for me. Do the numbers come in a warmer temp?
Not sure what your seeing but in person these are all the same colors. That said, I'm not a fan of the bright white (5000K) either. Here is a brand that is a little more "yellow" in the 3000K range.

@@DadItYourselfDIYwall light warm temp vs numbers cool temp I think. But I don't think the numbers would stand out anywhere near as well if they had the same warm light behind them either.
@W2APS I'd agree. After the holiday, I switched the bulbs in the sconces to match temperature.

Hello. Nice work. quick question: I have a similar setup and product and my question is when tapping into the outside light, because the two lights would be sharing the same connection do the number lights stay on if you were to turn off the outside light or does both lights go off and on controlled by the switch?
They both go off when the lights go out.

What’s the space dimension between the numbers?
I'd have to go measure it, an 1" to 1 1/2". But depends on the space you have. Mine was very narrow for 4 numbers.
$31 per number plus $16 for converter, $140! Why would you not even mention this in the video?
With DIY projects, one must factor cost into the equation. Sometimes, it’s just not worth it.

The wiring is absurd for this type of project. Hard pass, but great video.
It's all buttoned up now. It's easier than it looked.
I like it, just not flushed again the garage body... placing spacer in the rear of each top and bottom would make it look amazinggggg 😊
