    If your signal lights flash too fast (hyperflash) this part is your solution!! It is very easy to install and does not require any special tools...it plugs right into the harness. This component works with the following signal configurations: 1. All stock 2. Stock taillight, aftermarket signals 3. Integrated taillight, stock signals 4. Integrated taillight, aftermarket signals. We designed this part to fit right into the crimps on harness wires of your bike so the installation is a snap! This trick relay also enables you to also adjust the flash rate of the signal blinking with ease.

    Bought this and installed on my 04. Works good so far. Didn't bother changing the relay interval timing. Was a bit hard to remove the wires from the blue plug but it was a fairly easy installation. The relay is a bit more expensive than standard relays but has a much easier installation.

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  Před 4 lety +1

      If they aren't flashing at all you may have a wiring issue and a relay would not fix that. The 600RR has a running light and a signal light circuit in the front signals. I have seen people use a single circuit signal lamp and jump the running light and signal light wires together to the positive side of the signal lamp. All this does is run continuous current through that lamp it's connected to and also the rear one because the running light circuit is constantly on. Please check your front signals to see if maybe they are wired in this way. If so, just disconnect the wires that have the white trace on them. That will be blue with white trace on one side, and orange/white trace on the other side.

    • @TSTindustries

      The relay that you ordered corrects the flash rate of the signals. It has nothing to do with the brake circuit. The strobe alert function for the brake light needsa different module in order to function. We do not have a 03-06 600RR specific video for that part but the same method demonstrated in the 13+ video is used for installation. • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  Před 2 lety

      It does when the issue is the flash rate. Now you may have a different problem with your front signal wiring that could be the culprit if your front signals flash but rears don't. I recommend verifying that the running light circuit is not connected with the signaling circuit. In the front, on one side, the orange and orange/white should not be connected together. On the other side it is blue and blue/white.

This lead to research and finding out about hyper flash and the gen 2-I tst flasher relay to remedy. I installed the relay as this video instructs but now when I flick on the flashers the running lights go off and I get nothing, no light at all, not even on the console and when I turn the flashers off the running lights come back on. I'm hoping ya'll might know how or why that is. I don't deny that this relay works, Im just scratching my head trying to figure out what may be wrong or what I may have done wrong. although I followed the video to a T.

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  Před 6 lety

      It sounds like your front signals are wired incorrectly. If you have your running light and signal light wire jumped together into one connection this will cause your problem. Please check the connections on the front signals and find out if this is what the current setup is. If you disconnect the striped wire from the signal it will solve your problem. One side will have a blue/white stripe. The other will have an orange/white stripe. These are the ones that are supposed to not be connected.

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  Před 2 lety

      Well it appears as though we did not have a 2008 Hornet here in our market. The closest I found in available documentation here is the 2006 CB600F. According to part documents, this bike uses a standard flasher relay for signal flash switching, and it is located under the tail components on the left side of the bike, just fore of the ECU. On this bike our RLY-G2 model relay is the appropriate replacement component . After that year the CB600 model did not re appear for us but CB500 and 650 models did a few years later. Those bikes used our RLY6 relay. I would suggest pulling your OEM relay out and comparing the shape of the connector to the images of the relays that i mentioned on our website tstindustries.com . If it is a match then that is the part you will need

Do you have any seller of your products in Europe ? Thanks again!

    When I tried to install the relay I had some problems, the first when I tried to remove the cables in my motorcycle were of another color (different to that you show it in the video), the second when I was trying remove them, one of them it broke up and the pin got stuck, the third, to despite to cable was broken I tried to install the relay and it did not work.
    Also I had problems with the integrated tail light because my motorcycle have not the pin (and in the video only connect the pins for each of directional lights and it is not like that when only have the cables without pins). It sounds like you have your signals connected improperly. The Honda has two circuits in each front signal lamp. They are the signaling circuit and running light. If your front signals are a one circuit type of lamp, and you connect both running and signal circuit to them, then you would get the symptom you described. You need to disconnect the running light wire from your signals. On one side it is orange with white stripe, and on the other it is blue with white stripe. • @TSTindustries

      There is no stock relay on this bike. The flasher circuit is integrated into the bike's dash. Our product circumvents the bike's dash circuit.

      sébastien duclos the installation on your motorcycle uses a different but easier procedure. Your bike has the relay in between the headlights. It requires a different relay that can be found on this product page tstindustries.com/Honda-CBR-1000RR-2004-2007/

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  Před 6 lety +1

      Unfortunately we do not. We have 2006-2007 but the relay location on that bike is different than 2004-2005. I found a video in Deutch that showes where the relay is with the upper fairing taken off. I hope that helps you. czcams.com/video/rMPGr7aROoY/video.html

    My plate light flicker and right rear signal won't turn on, can this product fix that?

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  Před 5 lety +1

      If your plate light flickers then you have a wiring issue outside of the signaling circuit. The flasher relay will not do anything to fix that. If your rear signals don't turn on but the front signals do then changing the relay will do nothing to help you. I would advise you to examine the wiring on the rear of the bike and make sure all lighting components are wired properly. You can then move upstream to relay and switches.

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  Před 5 lety +1

      @@isaema3566 I do believe that if you use our components, and if you connect them to your bike properly, and if your bike does not have upstream wiring problems, then you will have a properly working setup.

      @TSTindustries  Před 3 lety

      You must have pulled out the wrong wires. That connwctor has many functions in it and if you get the wrong pin out you will kill that function. Please put everything back to how it was and then restart. Do every step one by one with the video and the commentary within it in front of you for reference. If you need more help after that please reach out to our customer service department through our website during business hours.

    Hey I had a question does the relay fix the issue when the turn signal stays on but does not signal

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  Před 3 lety

      That depends on what is causing your signals to not operate correctly. I would need more info to answer your question. On some bikes hyperflash manifests itself in signal lamps staying on and the relay does restore the flashing.

    will this work if the leds stay on?

    • @TSTindustries
      @TSTindustries  Před 7 lety +1

      It depends on what is causing them to stay on. Typically if there is not enough current draw in the signaling system the OEM relay will either hyperflash or just keep the lights on. If you have changed your signal lamps to LED and that is what caused your signals to stay on then our relay will be your solution.
