Off topic but interesting for locals...I just saw tonight where the city of Henderson is considering a proposal by a Utah corporation to put an indoor amusement park at the Fiesta Station site. The facility would include food court, rides, "classic" arcade games, vendor booths, etc.
Kongs, Your tutorials keep getting better (as they make me less afraid of mods each time :) )! I want to do this if I can get Time Crisis on sale! I had a couple of questions. I see that the sensors shine. Are they blindingly bright? I want to have more games, but I want it to be comfortable. Also, I would be going for the 6 button layout to play fighting games. I don't know if you were able to test, or can test, but does Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 look and play good on this Pandora? I really want Buy Stuff Store 6 buttons to play that game, but I always worry about bad emulation. Thank you as always for the content! Have a good one! vgv
The IR sensors are actually black light LEDs so they show up on camera but you can't see it at all in person. MvC2 plays ok here with the Naomi rom. Thanks!

You do sacrifice the arcade roms for sure for the main title. I'm curious why the retro shooter team didn't use the mame versions of TC and PB, since those run so easily. You get a ton more gaming options tho, so gotta weigh what you value
@@KongsRUs I’m not sure why either but there are too many console versions on the retro shooter for me . And the TC looks bad to me . And no high score saving on PB. Nope for me !
Thanks for the great video! I had a question about the upgrade - is it possible to just use the lightguns and the 19 inch monitor from the kit with the stock time crisis cab? I don't really want to install the pandoras box kit but I do prefer the lightguns with the solenoid recoil and the bigger screen
Let’s be honest here; is the retro shooter Pandora box actually powerful enough to play certain games lag free? No. Even in time crisis you get lag. I’d love to mod out my time crisis arcade but using retro shooters is a downgrade. Couldn’t there be a way to softmod the unit similarly to how you can softmod the yoga flame arcade cabinet with retroarch? One that doesn’t require you forking out even more cash? Seem like a waste of perfectly good sinden guns if you have to change the entire control panel.
Exactly and then factor in the additional money for all the extras, some channels get this stuff for free so I guess I see the recommendations are easier! Time Crisis on retro shooter is ps1 version too…Lame!!🤦♂️
@@pyjama9556 I think a better modification that wouldn’t bust the bank would be to use a mini PC with batocera flashed to its boot with the hdmi adapter and the guns4IR mod. Here in the UK postage and import fees would absolutely mess me around.

Unfortunately there are no gun upgrades for time crisis to use the stock PCB at the moment

Can the original stock PCB be used with the 19' monitor? I want the large screen and I intend on upgrading to the retro shooter at a later date.

It does get pricey when you add all the options in addition to the cab. $350 deck, $250 19" upgrade, $235 retro shooter, $800 cab = $1635 ish, 😅
