Hi, I don't normally comment but you mentioned something that I am familiar with and that is the anchor points on the bed of the truck, a design good practice is to make the anchor point 50cm apart because the rule is to secure a long load every 1.5m apart. Since your anchor points are 1.5m then there is not much wiggle room to put the straps.
