I can vouch for this commenter, as I've used Firefly in the last 24 hours, and can confirm that without Harmony TB, her damage wouldn't come near to the scale it would be with the Ultimate. So in other words, Harmony Trailblazer IS a necessity since Firefly's Super Break is only a third to half as strong as Harmony TB's Super Break (It says so in the Trace), on top of the fact that Firefly's Super Break is a different instance of the damage, so with Harmony TB you get TWO instances of Super Break instead of just one.

You invested all that in Firefly but still haven't built HMC? That's gotta be your next priority, HMC Super Break makes up most of Firefly's damage.
Firefly has built in Super Break, you dont need to run HMC with her, you do want to run HMC with boothill or any break DPS besides Firefly

Go to the menu where u can see all the boxes on the right
Go to synthesis
Tap the very last box with the image of a sphere and a rope
Scroll down until u see the orbs
Pick whichever orb u need
If your building Seele tap on the blue red and white orb and press the sphere
Press customised synthesis and press quantum dmg
Important note : Firefly NEEDS hmc cause most of her dmg is from hmc.Without hmc she looses 80% of the dmg she could have done
Unlike firefly.Boothil DO NOT need hmc cause he deals multiple Break Dmg (not to be confused with super break) when enemy is broken.His best slot is bronya and he does alot of dmg without hmc.Right now most people will probably hit 400-500k without hmc but firefly needs hmc to even do that kinda dmg
But this shouldn’t be a problem since hmc is easy to build and upgrade aswell as free so have fun.But firefly NEEDS hmc.Just giving that note

You know, when blast units do single target levels of damage, the blast unit is generally better.
I got her and I finished building her in literally 8 hours.
Her relics is the newly released Iron Cavalry and Kalpagni.
She has 2.5k atk, 149spd and 200%BE

Correction: Maybe Harmony Trailblazer isnt a neccessity for Firefly, but they are BEST support she can have since their Super Break damage effect is stacking so Firefly just simply deals much more damage with it
Also pretty much Firefly's best team for full break effect:
Firefly
Gallagher
Harmony Trailblazer
Ruan Mei
Gallagher's heal scales with Break effect so he is great here,yeah, his ult can deal nasty damage with Trailblazer's ult effect
It isn't a neccessity but sure damn hell it should be because a miniscule 70-100k per turn won't be enough for any end game content. Why would settle with that when you could be doing 300k-500k while still being e0!!
Like hell if she didn't have HMC she won't be Acheron level and more like Blade level dmg
Don't forget that Besotted (gallagher's ulti debuff) can also increase the break dmg taken by enemies by 12% at max level
i did 1 mil with gallagher's ult in SU 💀💀💀

My luck will never peak again- firefly came home at 26 pity with no guarantee- followed up by welt 5 pulls later (e3) and Ruan Mei light comes yea my luck will never be that good again on here good luck to everyone who's pulling for firefly! ^^

Her Lightcone makes her way easier to build (but you’ll have to wait for her rerun) if you haven’t gotten it yet
Also her E2 makes her have an extra turn if she either breaks or kills an enemy tho it’s not back to back with her extra turns cuz that would’ve made her to OP

You need hmc with firefly. If what i saw was accurate 20% of fireflies damage is normal damage and the other 80% is all super break damage. and for anyone who didn't know super break stacks so you'll be getting the extra damage feom BOTH fireflies built in super break and hmc super break

I got the full team in one day so firefly ,ruan mei, harmony mc, and gallagher. So im probably going to be stuck farming for a while trying to build 4 characters at the same time. At least i had firefly mostly pre farmed
I spent 24 hours grinding for ruan mei and lost the 50/50.
I got Firefly early, partially by accident (I wanted Gallagher eidolons) I don’t mind though, I wasn’t planning on getting anyone this patch and I’ve still got plenty of time to save. However, I’m a massive Boothill fan and I’m neutral on Firefly, so even if she does more damage, he’s gonna be my go-to break DPS
Bro HMC is definitely needed you’re in a ultimate hitting under 100k that’s not good for a 5star destruction path character my Kafka is doing 40-70k alone with no dots firefly needs that extra super break dmg buff

Firefly is powerful but not flexible. Unlike DHIL, acheron, or any other dps, they can have any support and sustain char. Firefly is basically chained to HTB and ruan mei. Unless new supports come out that caters to BE, firefly is stuck to those 2 which isn't totally bad

It's just unsettling to hear "this is the power of Firefly" after almost losing a star in the first half. I know it's because of the format, but still.
Besides, HMC doesn't really need building. Unlocking their major traces and giving them SOME relics and any lc is enough.
At least try to use the BiS support of the character if you're doing a showcase, unless you want to specifically show their performance without them

you should use hmc and ruan mei with each, but if you NEED to use them both on something like MoC, boothill doesn't want hmc that much, so run ruan mei with boothill then hmc with firefly. In short, yes.
if you have bronya, you can use her with boothill, and asta is a good alternative for a firefly support.

It is not in the SU. Look for it in DU. The new endgame content. You just have to fight a boss and you get a relic drop. It should be there.
