  • Imagine, you have a chip in your hand. Small, light, almost the size of your fingernail. But this is no ordinary chip. This chip is a miracle that contains nuclear energy and can generate electricity for years. What am I talking about? Of course I'm talking about Betavolt's coin-sized nuclear batteries.
These batteries generate energy from the decay of radioactive isotopes. Sounds scary, doesn't it? Don't worry, everything is perfectly safe. The isotopes are stored in a special capsule and the radiation cannot leak out.
Betavolt, a China-based company, has developed a battery that can generate electricity for 50 years without recharging. Yes, you did not hear wrong! This battery sounds like something out of a science fiction film, doesn't it? Its name is BV100.
Now, let's discover how this miraculous battery works together. The secret lies in betavoltaic technology. This battery generates electricity using beta particles emitted from a radioactive source. So, what do these particles do? It's actually very simple: they mobilise electrons!

I would not want that in my phone. It’s already giving me a dose of radio I don’t want or need in my body.

Would consider this a reactor instead of a battery.

ah ah ah it generates 2/3 milliwatts you need millions of those batteries for run a car. and the size will be more than a truck may be two.

I think it's a good start since they are still in the development phase.

Fake information and over saturated. It is not possible to change the phone using this technology..

No, it's not fake. It's just an invention in development. At the beginning of the video, I started by saying "Imagine". I interpreted the parts to be developed or possible future uses with my own opinion. Thanks for your comment.

Simple physics, average mobile battery is 10 to 20 Watts, and such Nuclear battery max out voltage is 0.000001 Watts. Somehow someone created such battery what will be cost and radiation?
