- Kicking off Pride Month, Mayor Villaraigosa presented the Hope of Los Angeles Award to singer Adam Lambert. The Mayor even scored a kiss on Adam while the President of Council Herb Wesson fawned over him. Quite enduring indeed! LGBT HERITAGE MONTH at City Hall May 31, 2013.

Adam inspired me again to be the best I can be. He is a person that makes a difference with his platform.of fame. A great intelligent speaker he expresses himself so easy as if speaking to one person, so lovable & beautiful & deserving so down to earth & real.
Adam has inspired and actually according to some ~saved lives!! Talent, beauty inside/out! HE IS THE TOTAL PACKAGE!! There has NEVER been anyone like Adam before and won't EVER again...I believe he was sent to really make a Big impact on this world for the better!! I know my life is better because of him. Mark my word~ Like Paula Abdul said "I believe w/all my heart you (ADAM) will be ICONIC!!"
Yay! Truly glorious moments! Adam works so hard, I'm thrilled to see his efforts being recognized by parties concerned.
I am crying from emotion after watching this video. I absolutely love and adore Mr. Adam Lambert.
The saying goes, when you get to the top, you're supposed to send the elevator back down, and that's what Adam is doing. He's not leaving the LGBTQ community behind, but instead he's bringing them along for the ride, way to go Adam.

I agree with you, but he may be iconic in a far different way than we realize. It may be more than just his music. I think it will also have to do with opening minds to new ways of thinking

Once you face a struggle and learn to overcome it, it is your selfless responsibility to inspire those around you to overcome as well. But you must take into account their current state and potential within that state, meaning you cannot help everyone equally. Many people are at different states in their less fortunate life, or their path to self improvement where you often need to let someone go in order to help others around them and use those that you help & heal to inspire by example for those more scarred or traumatized.
I am proud of you for being an outspoken example Adam Lambert. I am also grateful to be able to be inspired by the Soul and Passion behind your music and mannerisms.
Kinda cool that the step father of one of my exes Chip, worked with your father or stepfather at Qualcomm in San Diego.
You are my all time favorite American Idol Alum, Kelly Clarkson being a super close second.

God he looks good. I'm generally not a fan of facial hair but his new look with less make-up looks amazing.
