They supply phones, drugs and confiscated goods to prisoners as bribery to control and use inmates to muscle and take out one another. Ex. If an inmate has a complaint or against CO or a lawsuit for abuse against the prison. They will be unalived but the prison staff will go on n say it was an inmates altercation or they killed themselves and wipe their hand clean.

I spent my time in prison going through detox/withdrawal from heroin/Methadone and xanax.. I was so sick I just wanted to DIE. My first seizure in the pod and blood pressure so high I was kept in med bay for a month and I was given only one benadryl a day (which didn't help at all) I told the guard "drain the water in my toilet or I'm going to drown myself" which got me placed under SW in a paper suit. I had no concept of time aside from when they slid the meal trays thru the door, I knew it was 6am, noon or 6pm...this was without a doubt the lowest time in my life... But it also SAVED my life. I'm now 46... 16yrs clean... Went to college, Met my husband, got married in Africa, traveled to Dubai, and honeymooned in Istanbul... Life is good...

If you are being houses in a FARM type situation or a situation with a bunch of open bunks, with people sleeping out in the open, then you'll never get any sleep. But normal housing units like this, nobody is yelling all day or they would get their head smashed in
