I am with you. I bought one for my Lexus - and it didn’t come with the part to connect my GPS antenna. The after sales is terrible. Have tried a few times without any luck.

been using this in my is250 for a few weeks now no problems i have the dvdbypass hack in place the only thing that an issue on my is the wifi over bluetooth cuts out after 5mins of it been connected.
There is a company called Beat Sonic who makes an adapter to put any head unit you want in the car. The problem is most head units are android auto only and don't allow for video streaming while driving. However, it seems to be WAY more reliable for our styles of Lexus.. 2007/2008

I've had the Vline2 in my Chrysler Pacifica for a year and by and large it is working well. However it does suffer from occasional glitches that look similar to the lines you showed in a previous video. So I have some isssues but not nearly as bad as you're experiencing. Additionally, I'll say that I've gotten good response for after sales support. I believe it is a heat issue. A tech acknowledged that the unit gets hot. Mine gets too hot to touch. I've ordered stick on cooling fins (not from Grom) that I'm going to try to see if it helps. I also am going to look into attaching an on/off power switch because when it acts up while driving there's no way to do anything unless one stops the car, turns off the car, and opens the door to power the unit down. I'd like to switch it off in effect to power cycle the unit. I recently upgraded to Android 12 on my unit so I hope that helps. I agree, it is a sweet system when it's working and mine does most of the time but Grom needs to get these problems resolved if they want us to recommend it unreservedly to others.

I also have had issues with VLine 2 that is installed in a 2005 LS430. I am on unit number two and it has been back for repair once. My issue is that the GPS is slow to come on line or not at all. The first unit just died altogether. Customer service is slow to respond and hard to convince to them that the problem is the unit and not operator error.
Once I learned these really nice units depend on your cell phone service. It was like nope not gonna work for me. Most likely if I ever do an upgrade I’ll just go basic and add the simple aux jack. Something that should have been standard since 2000. Especially for a lexus like turn signal mirrors. 😜
someone help me i have this same unit but just today when i start my car it doesn’t boot up anymore and the disc-aux button doesn’t make it go to the grom screen
Such a shame. Just bought an IS-F and was slightly let down by the lack of Bluetooth music streaming that my previous 250 had. This seems like a great product in theory but I see no end of poor reviews for the thing. I'd love an alternative to come along one day.
Unfortunately I can't replace the stock stereo with an alternative single or double unit to this car. Not many options available for this model. I'll just stick to streaming to the aux port for now
I really struggled to find anything else sorry. The Tesla type stereo is the only other option, but I was never keen as no local specialist recommend them and they also are very costly. I've sold my IS now 😔
Yes it was possible to view any android video service ie... Netflix, prime, CZcams etc. However you may have seen in my previous videos that this unit was not long lasting.

I am disappointed that they do not make a Vline 2 unit for my 2013 Lexus is250 non navigation.

You'd have to explore if anyone in that country was selling grom audio products. Mine had to come from the states direct though.
Cushie Audio, they are well over a grand though and I decided too risky given the high cost.
