The story you created also served to deliver the hype that such matchup would create.

In conclusion, gogeta blue at the very least is 5 times stronger than MUI goku and no the Self movement technique won't be much help against an enemy who is multiple times stronger than you. The best example to prove that is jiren who kept up with MUI using his limit breaker form and pure strength and skill.

Everyone already knows Jiren is the strongest mortal and foe they’ve ever faced, we don’t even know the proper power levels and how the fights would go and yet your all saying ssjb gogeta is stronger than mui? Mui is the last trump card, beyond fusion and super spirit bomb, that’s it’s role in the show..literally. It’s already confirmed in the show itself that Jiren and mui goku are beyond the broly movie characters unless your saying broly in lssj and ssjb gogeta can defeat whis which is utterly ridiculous and false claims. Mui is angel level, Jiren was beating his ass down until plot armour kicked in even more for goku, a ssjb fusion is said to be above beerus, maybe even belmond level or stronger (universe 11’s G.O.D/strongest god in the manga and anime due to battle royal and arm wrestling) belmond said that he hasn’t seen a hint of Jiren true power (around 80-90%) in such a long time, showing he’s either fought Jiren and lost or Jiren fought another evil foe who was stronger than his own god also, maybe the “evil doer” was slayed by Jiren since belmond couldn’t do it himself, Jiren and goku both shook infinity with no time, boundaries, universes, dimensions etc (a realm outside the multiverse) and broly n gogeta only clashed and were sent through a dimension for a moment which is either below or slightly above universe level, beerus and ssjg goku both were clashing fists and able to destroy the universe in 3 blows while beerus wasn’t even at full power, in the movie they were much stronger, broly and others attacking and clashing didn’t even threaten the universe until ssjb gogeta came in who’s completely capable of destroying a universe but won’t, the title “the mightiest vs the mightiest” is just to hype the movie up since two non cannon fan favourite characters are officially cannon NOW, it’s based of the manga? Then don’t compare it to the anime. They have different storylines, power levels and plot, so you shouldn’t compare a manga character to an anime from the same show who don’t have any evidence of who’s actually stronger unlike Jiren he has all the evidence, btw Jiren isn’t a villain so yes broly is the “strongest villain” besides zamasu who’s a god and it took zeno to defeat him and ssjb vegito couldn’t even do damage and yet zamasu body was breaking down and weakening his healing factor, no god is evil, they are beyond mortals and they have every right to do what they want, also compare the fights and “limitations, rules and situations” then watch the reactions and feats the 4 characters have, you’ll see Jiren and mui goku are much superior, “broly gets stronger as he fights” is just a overstatement, yes he does get stronger as he fights but not that much, you do realise it was his own movie and his character and power was rushed so we could have a actual interesting and long movie/plot armour, and no he never pushed gogeta to ssjb, he wanted to end the fight before broly destroyed earth and the brute couldn’t even damage gogeta, now I hope you ppl can understand this and not allow he fan service and favouritism cloud your mind.

This is well edited though I don't agree that Goku wins due to Toyotaro's most recent statements, the daizenchu's statements on fusion, and Broly's fights in the movie. The daizenchu states that their power Is added and multiplied by 50. And that's just the base of the fusion Now imagine that with the multiplier of ssjb. I doubt UI Goku goes even close

Okay guys, let me lowball Gogeta. Let's say Gogeta base is ssjb Goku, Ui omen is like 50X stronger than ssjb that means ssj1 Gogeta would be enough for omen. MUI Goku is 100X blue and ssj2 is a 100X multiplier from base. So ssj2 Gogeta theoretically can beat MUI. ssjb Gogeta would be overkill for mui. Even ssj3 would destroy him. So this is how it goes.
Blue is a 1
Omen is a 50
And Mui is a 100
Gogeta base is already on a 1. So he only needs a 100X multiplier (Which is ssj2 to rival MUI) God or blue would be overkill like I said at the beginning. Anyway if y'all wanna argue in the comments feel free.

1: Base Gogeta equalling Blue Goku is a highball, since to arrive to that conclusion you’d have to assume that SSJ C-Type is super saiyan on top of wrathful, so that since SSJ Gogeta fared against SSJ C-Type Broly as welll as Blue Goku fared against Wrathful Broly, base Gogeta would equal blue Goku.
2: You’re SEVERELY underestimating the power of Ultra Instinct. Goku shook an infinitely-sized plane of existence just by entering the sign, used the sign to fight on par with Jiren, who at an extreme level of suppression showed the power and speed to transcend time itself, and the completed state directly overpowered Jiren’s full power, forcing the latter to break his limits. This makes the omen alone a multiplier that’s on some level of infinity, which decimates the Blue Gogeta multiplier and turning it into a pure nothing in comparison.
