    I will correct Lennox didn't beat Klichko Lennox was loosing his fight but doctors stop fight coz they decide that small area of cut skin are 'serious issue' it was lucky escape for lennox and after less that year lennox retire to avoid fight with Klichko :-)

      the doctor stopped the fight coz Lewis ripped his eye open with punches.. legal punches.. it wasn't a clash of heads, Lewis did that with his fist. Lewis barely had a mark on him and Klitsckos face was fucked up.. another three or four big shots and Vitali could have had his career cut short.

    Wladimir is the more complete fighter,has better technique,had the best trainer in the world teaching him for almost a decade but still Vitali would have probably won if they fought.Its all about acting and reacting in the given moment and Vitali is a pure fighter, he is calmer,braver,mentaly stronger and has a better chin and is very awkward due to his unusal body movements and punches from angles Wladimir hasnt seen or encountered before in the ring.
    Its similiar to the match up between Nadal and Federer in tennis,Federer is much more complete and talented but Nadal unusual style of playing and his determination, never give up mentality always make him the winner.

  • @alzopunk

    I think he are talking about a Wlad from 8-9 years ago, I didn't see that kind of problems since he regained the title after his loss to Brewster. In fact I think he has very good stamina for a guy that big, and usually he doesn't lean, just grab. He grabs because he can't fight inside, big fighters have disadvantages inside and also Wlad doesn't have a good chin so it is naturally that he grabs.

    Yeah agreed with you, but I see it in a different way only because in my opinion Wladimir is more tecnique and has better defense, but I continue to see Vitali hits harder. I'm impressive when he takes down in a brutal way Corrie Sanders and Adamek was demolished with less right hand. I add Ross Puritty who has been stopped because a tremendous cut and Wladimir doesn't do so much damage to him. Anyway I respect your point of view and I can tell both Klitschkos are hard hitting

    Will you get off the "I'm a jealous Lewis hater" bandwagon. Lewis got away with some holding and hitting, but he leaned on Tyson once in their fight, something that would ordinarily get you a warning, and his knockdown wasn't counted and he was docked a point. Every time Cotton separated them, he pulled Lewis's hands off first, even though Tyson was holding too and he only pushed Lewis back on the breaks. He also called a crouch a knockdown in the eighth just to buy Tyson some recovery time.

    @Kerasounta Yes I believe intelligence and willpower are the most important. But of course you need physical prowess to back it up.
    Muhammad Ali vs George Foreman is an excellent example that strategy, intelligence and toughness beat brute force and raw strength alone.

  • @DeLash1000
    @DeLash1000 Před 13 lety

    @CopyNinja87 He didn’t say he was winning he said he was getting to him and he was right. Lewis had won the last two rounds and was slowly beginning to dominate. As for his post-fight interview he was well within his right to say what he did, I was disgusted with the booing spectators; everything he said was in defence. Of course he wasn’t going to say Klitschko deserved to win, and theres no doubt in my mind if it had gone the 12 Vitali would have lost. Best possible result for Klitschko.

    he has the 2.nd best KO ratio in the history of the division. The only time he had his doctor stop him was when he tore his shoulder against Byrd, he should have fought on and win the fight one-handed I agree, but since that day such thing never happened again. Look how often how often Holmes grabbed Shavers and then tell me again they are exzessive grabbers.

  • @keshtheclean2772
    @keshtheclean2772 Před 11 lety +1

    I mean look at the fight against Wach. All those fights aren't very interesting but against Wach you see him throwing really heavy shots for 12 rounds, couldn't knock him out though either because Wach has a tremendous chin or because he was on steroids or both. Anyway a guy 6,6 who can throw such a large number of jabs and heavy powershots for 12 rounds, I honestly don't see stamina problems in recent fights. Certainly in the early stages of his career they were obvious.

  • @bigmoney749
    @bigmoney749 Před 12 lety +1

    It was Don King and Tyson. Either way, Tyson was supposed to fight Lewis but he refused so Lewis sued him to make a defense. Lewis wanted Tyson. Tyson didn't want Lewis and don't give me any bullshit about how his fight with Seldon would've been more lucrative. Lewis-Tyson set a pay-per-view record and that was when they were both old and past their primes. If they fought in '96, the record they would've set would still be standing today.

    2 very good fighters in a very poor era for heavyweight boxing, they deserve respect for dominating for so long its not there fault there has been no great heavyweights out there tbh they av beat just about every1 out there and i cant see Fury, Price or any of the other up and coming heavyweights giving them a decent fight. Vitali is basically retired and Vladimar will probably take on 2 or 3 more fights then retire aswell. There 2 of the most dominating boxers in the heavyweight history, fact.
