When I was a kid my dad had a friend who had stayed in the Honey Island swamp for six months when he was a young man. I did the same thing after high school in a different part of Louisiana. He was actually one of the few people who I heard reference Bigfoot back then. I just remember the comment- “If there’s a Bigfoot in Louisiana, it’s in the Honey Island swamp.”

I wrote the submission by "Claudia." It sounded in your telling of the story that my fingers typed that I was a "planter" and grant writer for the Spokane Tribe. I meant to type "planner" (community development and transportation) and grant writer. The Tribe does have staff who do plant trees, but I was not one of them. However, I'd bet some of those people have had better sightings than I had. Also, the rez is, of course, in NE WA, not NW WA, as I apparently wrote. Thanks very much for reading my less than riveting story.

It is sad to me that so many people keep their stories suppressed and untold for fear of ridicule and disbelief. I hope you will tell Mr. Cam your story. I have had a few strange things happen to me in my 73 years and shared them with my family and a few other people over the years. No one has openly made fun of or jeered at me, and only one person made a lame attempt to try to explain an incident away. Maybe some shook their heads and think I am weird privately, but I just don’t care. I know it wouldn’t have been a good thing for me to keep these incidents to myself for years, and you can certainly trust Mr. Cam, who I have come to believe is a fine, decent, and discreet gentleman.

Friday night my wife and brother heard a very loud tree break on the neighbors property ,so loud the neighbors heard it and they where inside their house. After the neighbors finished their flashlight investigation me and my wife walked across the little dirt road to investigate for ourselves. As we walked up I was reminding her of one of the growls I'd heard in the past and all of a sudden we got growled at. It was very intense and deep. We decided to turn around and get in the house lol. It nearly scared the poop out of us. We live in heavily wooded area by the rivers in Walker county Alabama

It really gives me goosebumps to know they are in this region. I'm in W Tennessee and in my Childhood my cousins and I spent all our waking hours outside. In the country, and often in the trees that were a line that ran across our farm, the lane we called our driveway and on across our land and Granddad's that was next to ours. We had about 500 Acres collectively.
Wild Blackberries and Dewberries were lush along this creek, apple, pear, and peach trees were alas I plentiful through our properties. This creek ran into the Forked Deer River system that nets through NW Tennessee. We were about 30 miles, as the crow flies, from the Mississippi River and our land revealed vast artifacts from the Native Peoples o of years hone by.
Now, they likely transverse our farm, and to think they may have watch us kids play some 40-50 years ago.
      Woo ... gets my tummy!

I wish we were neighbors Cam I would happily be your unpaid assistant to get thru stories and answer emails as I love the story factor of your channel! I'm not into evidence because I believe wholeheartedly in sasquatch and a few other cryptids that are hard to dispute! No evidence needed for this Iowa girl!

Cam I have something to tell you. Last summer my wife and I was sitting on the back porch talking and looking at the stars. All of a sudden I heard horses running in the field right next to our house. It lasted about 5 to 8 seconds, when it was done I didn't say anything to lisa in fear of her thinking I was crazy. I turned and looked at her, and she said that wierd it sounded like horses running unsaid ues I heard it as well. Funny thing we live out in the boonies and there isnt a horse for miles. I thought of this when I heard your story. Thank you for all you do I live this channel.

Enjoyed every one of the stories especially listening to you. I honestly believe you don't know what a talent and gift you have, and you are so humble about it too. Well we all see it or I guess I should say hear it and appreciate you more than you can imagine. Keep up the great work. As always I'm anticipating the next video as I'm pretty sure are more people on your subscription list. God bless you and your family 🕇💜✌

We absolutely love your narrations and look forward to storytime whenever you upload either a Dixie Cryptid story or a What if it's True? podcast episode. The Steve Lilly Journals are great. Keep up the great work Cam. We're istening to this again as we have listened to each multiple times. They help us relax. It's June 2021 and I'm going to be writing up an encounter of mine to send to you to read and share with your people. You have an awesome community of subscribers.

Hey Wil Delapine . That is one of the reasons I found Cam's channel . I just recently found all of this stuff on you tube . I worked a lot until I lost most of the use of my legs I now use a walker to get around but don't get far . Just sharing that there are others listening and enjoying for the same reasons . So stay as comfortable as you can I hope your pain is being managed and keep doing your best that is all I try to do myself Sir I will look for your comments to say Hi and you can do the same for me if you would like take care bro

      @@josephdietz3446 ....
Thank Joseph... Yes I figured it's probably the same with a lot of the social media.
People are on there to have a window to the world...and I was a late bloomer anyway.... "Was never interested in computer's"...
My life seems to be CZcams now... I was being harassed on Facebook so I just dropped off from there....
The ironic thing with Facebook is? They 86th me so I just said forget it.
I'm tired of playing that game. So now they give me access through Google..."Go figure"....
I hope you getting along well, yes been in significant pain of late...
But I don't want to over due the pain meds. So I've learned to deal with it.
      Thanks Joseph
It's still nice to be recognized....🎣🐶

I think its funny that the scientific community does not try to distinguish these animals as their "missing link" but has helped to cover it up. Makes me wonder if most have not been genetically engineered.

I think that's exactly what they are is a missing link of sorts.. they're not primates though and humans aren't either and I don't think we evolved from them either.. I know it would ruin sciences little stories of evolution and that bs Darwinism lol

Thanks for the stories, Cam. They are great and very interesting. When I opened CZcams this video popped up. I was really happy to see it. Your narration always adds to th enjoyment of the stories. I
I think going off on a tangent is the mark of a good story teller.
