Memorial Service for Blount County Deputy Greg McCowan

- Deputy Greg McCowan of Blount County Sherriff's Office was fatally shot while on duty Thursday night during a routine traffic stop. A memorial service with full police honors is scheduled for Wednesday, February 14, at 1 p.m. at the same church. Sevier Heights Baptist Church is located at 3140 Maloney Road.
A true friendship can never be broken. R.I.P Sir. My cousin was Chief of Police in Rockwood and passed away just last year. His name was Chief Bill Stinnett. He was a true friend to so many people. I miss him so much.

And i'm surprised it was not cowered wide enough. Life of a hero is a beautiful story, but some times it's quite sad.
I think this is so sad it breaks my heart I just didn't understand why they didn't never mention his Minister that did the service he did such a wonderful job he spoke to all of us how to get through things like this it does take God to help us
