Jen should definitely go for Aliena! That would be a great combo with her wood worker that converts wood into money. Money is very tight in this game, so in this scenario she would basically get 4 money for free every turn!
I am little bit confused here. Why draft cards and not just use them like a place where you can put your workers and directly take the resources listed there? For example put 8 meepals on one card and take 4 lumber. Seems to me pointless to just put the meepels on the board on forest, take the card in front of you and then in the second part take the resources. Let the cards there and next turn just shuffle the cards again and new spots will be available to put workers on. Is there a good reason to actually move the card in front of you and put the workers on the forest?
Late reply, but to anyone who follows, you can absolutely just place the workers on the drafted cards to mark them and leave the cards where they are. Seen others do it that way to save on moving the cards about.
im a little confused. During Jenn's turn once all the cards were doled out, Rahdo still had four workers sitting on the side and he didnt put them in the mill to make money. Was that a mistake or was there a reason that happened?
What I meant with my reply is that your observation was correct, Richard indeed had 4 workers that he could have placed in the Mill to get money... what I also said is that that error was already noted in the Klingon subtitles and that you whenever you watch a video from rahdo you should always turn on the Klingon subtitles because when rahdo makes errors they are noted there and it appears on a screen as a subtitle and so you know when he makes errors... That was an error and it was already noted there! Cheers
I’m kind of disappointed that The cathedral turned out to be a glorified round track counter. I really wanted it to be like a super prestige action where you spend a lot of resources but get a lot of victory points, so at the end of the game you can go “I built this!” And when the cathedral is built it symbolises the end of the game
