As primitive as it may be for some of the diehard FPS fans out there, for someone like me, it was incredible. One of my favourite games from the past 5+ years. Its because I'm a fan of the movies and it struck all the right cords with me. And that's the intention behind it. To boost those first two movies.
Like I said in the video, I've never been good at FPSs. I hear Doom is tough. Even some of the Wolfenstein games have kicked my ass (but I powered through and still beat them lol).
@@ChannelNerdgasm Doom can be ball busting depending on the difficulty but I'm not the kind of person who plays video games on the highest difficulty. If I have to replay several sections of one game several times because the game is set at its hardest difficulty, that's not fun for me, it's a chore . In my experience, Doom on Ultra Violence is unplayable, and I'm only interested in blasting through the game killing demons left and right and having a ton of fun. Not arbitrarily getting my ass kicked and running out of ammo cause the game gets too stingy.
If you kept all your upgrades though, it would make the early parts of the game (especially the T-800 stuff) too easy. I think having NG+ in Teyon's RoboCop game made sense, but not for this one.

You would probably dig the shit out of Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal if you like much larger and fantastical elements for FPS games.

Terminator Dark Fate is my favorite Terminator movie. No shame whatsoever
