Great lesson my friend. Suffering is a part of this Christian walk. Some wonder why we should go to church...2 Cor 1:4 totally put the responsibility on us to comfort those who are going through trials as we lean on and allow God to comfort us through our own trials. We need each other and it's good to know that someone is praying for you or even to get a hug from our brothers and sisters. And how important is it to not put ourselves on that island and call on our brothers and sisters to pray for us as we go through our trials? You made this plain sir. Keep up the great work.

Amen! Well taught as always. We're not always on our mountain top. Strength fades with some adversity sometimes but to God be the glory, He yet comforts us and restores us with hope and great Strength. So glad that He never puts more on us than we can bear. And yes, we are helpers to one another. Prayer is our lifeline and connection. This lesson is right on time. Much needed today and God's blessing of comfort is so amazing. Thank you. Be blessed.

This is an awesome lesson at the right time. I thank you for the needed encouragement, as you expounded upon this lesson thoroughly. Yes, I'm praying for your strength to endure and continued teachings you give to the body of Christ! God's presence be with you and in you to do what He's called you to. He WILL do exceedingly and abundantly, above all you've asked or thought about according to the power working in you. Praise God! And to Him belong ALL the Glory! Yes, my pastor just lost his father suddenly, who is a minister, and now he has to preach the funeral. Pray for Pastor C. Tutson. My grandson was just diagnosed as epileptic and will start on meds I don't like because of side effects. But my God is able to do the Impossible! So, going through difficulties, my attitude is Prayer, Joy, and Perseverance in last week's lesson. Now, it's having the value of Comfort from others. Thank you again!!!

This passage can be difficult to read let alone understand. Your teaching put it in perspective.
Without suffering we will not experience the blessing of comfort. And the joy of being comforted is a weapon used to help others who will need comfort.
We need the prayers of the righteous. By the Spirit of God, those prayers will strengthen those who are going through by giving the strength and power to endure.
Prayer works and is necessary.
