- Introducing Analog Heat +FX - a dynamic sound processor. With a wide color palette of processing possibilities, let your sound be your canvas as you drip sonic paint over your beats, melodies, and sounds.
The Heat block adds warmth and character with eight fully analog stereo distortion circuits ranging from a subtle clean boost to complete annihilation. Shape and carve your material using the multi-mode filter, fine tune your lows and highs with the 2-band adaptable EQ, and fracture your sound using the noise gate.
Then let the inspiration flow with digital effects such as warble, chorus, delay, reverb, and bit & sample rate reduction, compressor and bass focus. Reorder all effects to experiment and find your own signal flow, adding depth, dimension, complexity, and color to your music. Save your explorations in one of the 512 preset slots for instant recall.
Experiment and have fun with the modulation options. Take the incoming sound and shape it into a modulation source using the envelope follower. Make the parameters wobble and weave using any of the 3 LFOs.
On top of the stereo in, stereo out, two control inputs for control voltage, expression inputs, or foot switches, the full size midi in, out, and thru, with din sync for the classics. You also get a USB for seamless computer integration with Overbridge, or to be used as your main sound card in a nimble studio setup.

I’ve been using the Heat mk1 since it first came out, and it’s a really useful tool. I have to say though, I really can’t understand why they didn’t use this updated version as an opportunity to add a parameter lock sequencer. It’s such an obvious feature for an Elektron box!

I've been waiting for them to do a performance mixer. Basically the octatrack minus samples with more inputs and a more modular routing. If they kept the scenes and crossfader from octa it would be a killer live effects machine.

offtopic: I would really love to see a documentation on/with the guys who develop the interfaces and display visualizations of the ELEKTRON machines. For me this still is the key, why these boxes are so intuitive and easy to use - a real boost for creativity in musicmaking. 🙌😊

oh my... you took an Analog Heat and crammed the Octatrack FX section into it, figuratively speaking I mean (and obviously it's a lot more than that). I approve. People have asked for something like this for a LONG time from Elektron.

this is nice upgrade to the analog heat. hoping it can handle an update in the future to allow for having multiple of the same dsp effect running at same time, like a reverb > drive > chorus > and a second different reverb etc.
My favorite elektron machine becomes even more of a staple 👌🏾
I was expecting something more like a mixer+heat&fx combining and polishing thingie with multiple connectivity options like 1 stereo channel for digitone, 1 stereo for digitakt maybe another for rytm or a4 & syntakt. where in the end all get separate vol controls, fx, dist with different amounts etc. I mean this is a great update on the heat especially with the new fx and flow page but I was expecting something more complex where you can route multiple signals. Just one stereo in ... I don't know.

Looks fantastic! I am a big fan of the Elektron Analog Heat. Favorite all in one fx modulation box so far.

Last Sunday was the first time I ever heard of this company and the Analog MKII. This morning I was getting ready to buy one at Sweetwater. Something told to me to go to CZcams and look for more demos. Today, you announce a new one!

For someone who wants a coloring / end of chain box this is now very interesting as it makes up for some of the shortcomings of the analog heat. For instance, i chose oto boum for my end of chain box, but I miss the headphone output, and eq. Now this has a compressor (albeit digital), and it becomes more of a all in one box. Well done, although I don't think I'll be needing it, and I also think current heat MK2 owners won't be happy haah.
seeing that i just bought my mk2 for nearly the same price about a year ago, you can say i am pretty mad.
Aww damn the compressor is digital? Thats unfortunate but i guess if you've already converted the signal for the reverb & delay, might as well compress it at the same time. The Mk2's envelope follower can already kinda be used for some analog compression, albeit in a rough, hard to control way.
Hopefully it allows bypassing the AD conversion altogether if only using the Heat circuits, without any noticeable drops or spikes in volume.
@@yewrforstnaymhearyewrlayst5566 Same here. I've a bit annoyed, but I have been so impressed with my Mk2 that this is almost an insta-buy anyway. If the compressor was analog I'd pull the trigger easy. My Heat sees more use than a lot of my other gear, so I'm sure there's something I could part with to fund this. Gonna have to think on it for a bit though.
You sir are 100% correct. Spent $800 just 6 months ago for my Heat MKII. The Heat MKII is the only Elektron device that hasn't received any type up upgrade since it came out. It's one of the most expensive Elektron devices too, you would think they would have added some features via firmware update so the people who did buy the MKII feel like they got their moneys worth. I buy Elektron because they support their products for years after they come out with cool updates and features. It's not crazy to expect some type of upgrade for the Heat MKII. This is disappointing to say the least. Instead of upgrading the MKII and adding some features they want me to buy yet ANOTHER device.

I've been writing and producing electronic music since 1997 and out of everything I've ever used, heard, or known of, the only piece of gear that I truly believe every musician should own is the analog heat. It is the ultimate studio glue. That said, the analog circuits are the real value and I'm not sure I care much about the fx since I have a bunch of effects already and without being able to route fx via 4-6 individual sends with individual ins/outs, I'd rather just keep doing fx the way I've been doing them.
Dope, I can't wait for the Octatrak MK3!! Elektron, we'll pay top dollar! Get it out there!

I have 4 elektron boxes and absolutely love them but this needed to be an 8 input mixer in a larger form factor. not enough for the investment.

Yeah a mixer with flexible per-channel and bus compression to run between the synths/drum machines and the Heat would have been perfect. I've got plenty of reverb and delay pedals already, and my Heat mk2 is still doing it's job beautifully.
Only bought the mk2 in March. It be nice if they offered an upgrade for mk2 owners though I understand it’s not exactly like a software update. So be it😞

Are LFOs trigger synced with transport? Only having free running LFO on mki and mkii is one of the biggest oversight of this otherwise great machine.
