Wow!!! The closest I'll probably come to The City of London ( a city within a city). :)
Those gorgeous Georgian townhouses at 2:00 with the tall multipane windows and classical details - architectural perfection !
i LOVE this walk so much , iv been walking there 5 times after i done this video , every time i get amazed xxx
Some of the roads near liverpool street station have some hidden gems 🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜👍👍
Thanks , i got a few videos that area as well
@@unseenwalks TRUMAN'S BREWERY is a hidden gem 🚜🚜🚜🚜
My husband and I just found this video tonight and what a joy and relaxing evening we are having walking through London with you. Thank you so much for posting this. I really enjoy seeing all the old buildings and just imagining what life was like when they were built, what were their lives like. It's fascinating. I may never get to cross the pond, now that the world is closed down, but thank you for giving these Americans from Pennsylvania a little glimpse. We were astounded by how few people were around! God bless and have a Happy New Year!
Hello both and thank you so much for the positive comment - try and check my playlist " unseen london " there you will find more of this kind of videos and more to upload - thank you again for taking your precious time to write this comment xx all the best to you and family - happy new years
I appreciate it when you take close ups of the statues/memorials. Thank you!
I belive some of viewers want to read about a place :) thqnks
@@unseenwalks I have a website about London I am working on. Would it be alright if I embedded your video on my website? You’ll get full credit, of course.
@@steffiegrl1183 somehow I didn't noticed your coment - feel free to embed what video you like :)
@@unseenwalks That’s ok. I’m glad I can embed the video, that’ll be very helpful!
@@steffiegrl1183 you can do that with all my videos what you like . Just don't re-upload them on a different youtube account, with that I sill not agree :)
Happy valentines 💝 day
Hello from San Diego California! Happy New Year 2021. Loved this walk. Your walks are always very interesting, with the historic buildings and out of the way side streets. Sometimes miss living in London...so you are giving us a real gift. Stay Safe.
Thanks a lot for the good feedback :)
Many walkers are doing the main touristic places , so what's the point myself doing that as well , and anyway I prefer a sidewalk than a touristic one hahha
BTW, tonight at 11PM UK time, I will do a live stream in the hotspot places ( let's see what will happen lol )
I hope to visit san diego family there
Really fantastic video thanks love it love London 😘😘👍
Glad i could make you happy Meyer :)
I enjoy your walks immensely! Thank you so much for taking the time to do them! 😊
This walk shows some of my favourite parts of London, near my (currently closed!) office. I can't believe how quiet it is now. Thanks for taking us with you - twas nice to see some of my fave haunts. Stay safe and well.
Oh wow!
Hello from Hungary, I like your videó
Hey, thanks!
I am an Aussie and just walked with you on my treadmill at home :) Have been to London many times over my lifetime starting in 1972- have NEVER seen it as quiet as this video though. Very sad.
Hope everything will be better and we will see more people around us :) - all the best Barry :)
Born and bread and never get bored of London. Thank you. X
hahahah, think about myself as im not born here :)
Wow!
Just stumbled on you and love your cheeky eye.
Definitely my kind of fun day: roaming... 😉
Thank you from DownUnder
Welcome aboard Bryan -- thanks a lot !
It’s so sweet how you take the time to capture details!! It’s very much appreciated!! Thank you 😊!
Happy new year.
Superb walk. Loved it.
Many thanks.
Thanks a lot SJ
Happy new year - if you wanna see London live , I will do a stream at 11PM UK time
These are great walks, and you clearly love the city and its architecture.
Hi James - yes i do love walking on an old street than a " brand new one " hahahah
Wow, my wife and I stayed in a Airbnb flat in St. Dunstan's house 2 years ago. That's the place next to the library you were trying to get in where the 2 guys were climbing under the fence to get out of there, lol! I thought some of the places looked familiar; thanks for filling in the gaps. Happy New Year! Stay safe!
Nice Dash :) Happy new year and all the best for 2021
I want to start out by saying, " Happy New Year to you and Bonnie."
I hope 2021 will be a good year for you and you will stay healthy and safe.
I am so happy I came across your videos this year. I can't thank you enough for all the time you spend on putting these videos together.
I love this video of all the out-of-the-way back roads and hidden gems.
You create such wonderful tours with so much attention to detail.
You would make a wonderful tour guide, your knowledge of the city and friendly personality and sense of humour. I am sure your viewers would all agree. 😊
You could lead even personal tours for individuals who don't want to go on group tours for some extra income.
I'm one of your biggest fans!
You bring joy to so many viewers in this bleak world we are in.
Thank you LADMob.
l
Thank you so much Suzanne - you are the best and i hope to make you more happy with my videos what i will do in the future - I never been thinking to do any guided tours and specially not for money - in case any of my subscribers will be in London and and i will be free , i will DEFINITLY show them around FOR FREE - I always felt good making others happy :) - happy new year to you and your family Suzanne :)
I enjoyed the video. I know this area well as I usally stayed in Lincoln’s Inn. Also a fascinating area.
I will need to go back and see more of it :)
So nice to walk with you.
Thanks for coming Mary ! all the best
This is the London I know and brought up in and walked everywhere. Love to revisit after 50 years. Buildings so solid.
Glad you enjoyed Hazel :)
This is how I'd explore London: side streets and alleys. Perhaps I will soon. Thanks and cheers!
I love to walk on all small streets :)
Happy new year - if you wanna see London live , I will do a stream at 11PM UK time
From Spooner Wisconsin - Love your walking videos. Happy New Year
Happy new year John and thanks a lot for the support
So sad to see Edgar Wallace and Devereaux pubs closed. My regular haunts when open. Hopefully soon. I also think that you should do more narration. I know where you are walking but strangers to London will not. Keep safe in 2021.
Hi Robert - I wish to do more narration about my walks, but even myself i don't know much about those places where i go :)))))) - i don't make a script or plan where i will film today, usually im walking and filming , and if i see a small little road i go there and see what's new ! All the best my friend and take care
great stuff, just watched this and a couple of shorter films. As I grew up near London Bridge in the 1950/60's but now live in Cornwall this is wonderful, I shall definitely watch some more.
Thanks for sharing!
Fascinating landscape! So different than Orange County, California. Thanks for the tour.
I saw some movies made in your city , nice one
Can’t believe it’s been almost three years since I first watched this wonderful walk.
Thanks from John in Spooner Wisconsin
Enjoyed walking with you and loved watching this beautiful video. You got lost because you forgot to turn right from Mac’s Place. See I remembered. Thanks
Oh thank you Busy Bee - I love getting lost in London , is like a sweet treat for me hahah !
Thank you for this ... lived in London from 84 to 88 then moved to Australia. We lived in Vauxhall and would walk these lanes on the weekend early in the morning. Brought back some great memories although quite a few of the older run down building seem to have been gentrified since then. Suffice to say we couldnt afford to live in Westminster but there were some fantastic sights to behold. Its amazing how small the actual City of London is although the suburbs are another thing altogether.
Glad you enjoyed it
You did take the time, I really appreciate the close up beautiful old city better than the new ones. Thank you so much, keep up the great work
Throughout London white glazed bricks have been used to lighten what can be a dark passageway with reflected light and to enhance the building. They also add to the longevity of the brick. Coloured glazed tiles can be seen everywhere in Central London on old and new buildings. Architecturally in at the moment from the looks of it.
thanks for the info my friend !
Love these. Please keep them coming. Never realised the hidden beauty of the capital.
Hi Bernard - im waiting everything to be " open " as i got some special places to visit
i am 50 year of age and i been wanting to go to London since i was 14 !! i would have to get a motor bike for sure, bcuz that too much walking for me now. but you sound like you are from norway or some place like that
I do walk a lot every day so for me is quite easy :)
Nice walk, you are showing a good spirit of the places 🙂
Spasiba - - and good luck with your new channel :)
Just the kind of walk I enjoy, through these random streets, thanks fellow Walker.
Walking on this kind of streets is way much better than busy places. Thanks a lot LW , btw i will need your help with some videos of yours - may i send you a email to explain what i need ?
Great movie. Congratulations. This is how I walk around this city when I go there. I also like finding details.
Thank you very much!
I very much like your London videos mainly when you explore unseen places.
Thank you for this wonderful trip down memory lane. I was born and grew up in London and this bought back lots of memories
Glad you enjoyed it xx
Lovely video around Londons hidden streets some of which I never knew about especially around the Law courts.
thanks you so much
Thanks for sharing! I like how you take your time ! I am always rushing when I film mine, very inspiring thanks
I wish you a happy New Year may it be shining for you and your loved ones 💖🐶💖
Thank you as well to you Annarita - all the best and wishes to come true !
WOW! LADmob! I lived in London in the 90s, and never knew about all these secret spots! Thank you so much for such great videos. I'm subscribed, by the way:)
Glad you enjoyed Humberto - i still have MORE to come :)
Thank you so much for your walks... these were a substitute for my missed trip to London this year. Happy new year!!
Once your are back to London you can walk by yourself on this hidden places
Happy new year - if you wanna see London live , I will do a stream at 11PM UK time
so i am not the only one who disappears up alleyways lol
i was thinking only i love to go on the smallest and scariest streets just to see whats there :)))) hahahha -- but noooo, i met a few people who said exacly what you said hahhaha
@@unseenwalks so have you seen the black windmill by Brixton ,garden shed in soho ,or a cabbies cafe in the middle of a road
I agree the court buildings are rather eerie! Great video.👍🏼🇨🇦❤️🥳
Thanks Hardy
Thanks for showing us around the City of London. Even though I used to work in areas nearby, I knew very little about buildings you showed, or the streets. I am wondering whether there were places in these hidden streets where people lived.
Glad you enjoyed it
Absolutely love these, so relaxing. Intrigued with what camera you’re using?
Not one of the best , just a simple gopro 7 ( old camera , but been with me in so many adventures in the last 3 years )
Wow! This is so nice! The place is so wonderful! A beautiful place to unwind and relax for a moment! Thank you so much for sharing this amazing walk! Keep it up! :)
Glad you enjoyed it
I absolutely loved watching this... Lots of little nooks and crannies full of history. Really strange seeing London deserted like this.. Great video.. Love from Liverpool x
Thanks for watching
Wow,yes there are so many alleyways in different parts of old London and the city
Thanks for this wonderful walktrought. Happy 2021!
Happy new year Isabel - THANKS !
Lovely walk
cute xx
watched your stream last night, this is great. I like how you go through little side streets and lesser known places. What time was this filmed?
The square mile is dead quiet. Never seen it like this😳
Myself i never been passing that area and saw it busy ! :)
Such amazing architecture. London is a truly wonderful city. Thank you for doing these videos. I can't get enough of them. Subscribed! And God bless, my friend.
thank you so much JB - in 10 minutes another unseen video will come :)
Very deep and satisfying, love London..
Hi Lad mob, It's great to see how thrilled and enamoured you are with this most charming part of London. I have long implored walkers to get away from the main thoroughfares, and explore the back streets, lanes, and alleyways. You did miss a piece of secret London history in Star Yard.......also the Seven Stars pub in Carey street Grade 11 listed, and one of the oldest pubs in London, pre the Great Fire. Loving your videos.
Incidentally Fleet Street wasn't boring when the newspaper industry was there! I don't find it boring now actually, some great pubs.
I think a little narration works well, because the viewer is then able to sense your enthusiasm, as with this video.
Ohh Joooooohn, you always make me feeling like im the best youtuber alive and top tv station in the world , thanks a lot Sir :)
I LOVE walking on non touristic places and small alleyways and small streets far away from touristic places and im glad im not the only one !
I really need to go back then to Seven Stars pub :) and explore more that area ( thanks for the tip ! ) - For me Fleet street is a boring street, i dont like it ( been working around the corner for ages, maybe thats why i dont like it hahahha ) - I dont really speak into my videos as im close to ZERO when is about to say something about a building or what's the name of that place, and stuffs like :) - i will listen your advice for my next recorded video ! Happy new year Sir and loads of blessings to you and family !
LADmob Thank you for your warm response to my message. I'm always delighted to meet someone who shares my love and interest in London.
Even my enthusiasm doesn't extend to walking around for two hours in the freezing cold, with no warm pubs or cafes open. Perhaps when I was younger, but not now!!
If you can understand that often where they have now built steel and glass skyscrapers, there were once charming stone buildings and alleyways like you were admiring, you can appreciate my sadness at the changes.
Incidentally the bridge you were admiring was Holborn Viaduct.
Happy New Year to you and yours.
I'm an Aussie just wondering if you have been to the shambles in York 🙃😷🇦🇺
York is on my bucketlist - im just waiting everything to be back to normal regarding hotels/transport
London is beautiful 🤩
Xx
Gorgeous! Thank you !
Thank you too!
Best walking tour ever. Lovely camera work.
Many thanks!
Excellent videos! Keep up the Great Work!!
Thanks a lot Ray
Interesting approach, not a tour guide but pleasant reactions of amazement to these narrow streets.
Glad you enjoyed it Calvin xx
Must have been during lockdown
Love these videos showing many old ancient buildings from one world Tartarian Empire....😉☺️👍🏻
More to come!
These places are history and must be kept forever
Indeed , i agree with you ! such a beautiful places !
Wow ! Thanks ! Wishing you a happy new year 2021
Happy new year - if you wanna see London live , I will do a stream at 11PM UK time
I just love your vids, so relaxing and seeing so many hidden gems
Glad you like them! thanks a lot Wendy
Great video.👍
I'm missing my days out exploring the back streets...safeguarding alone at home for nearly a year now:/
At least I've discovered your channel. Thank you :)
thank you so much xxx
i love exploring backside streets more than a cold beer lol
London is so much prettier than NYC
London got the OLD city architecture and New skyscrapers
My wife and agree. No wish to see NYC but would love to see London.
@@dashjeffreys6998 and you would be welcome we are a friendly bunch 😊👍🏻
@@jayleigh4642 I believe you are. I always felt more akin to the British than Americans. My ancestors came from England......and you brought us all the great muisic that started in the 60's!
@@dashjeffreys6998 Ahhh, the music of the 60s ! That is a another story in itself !!
Thank you. I really enjoyed this video.
Hi Suzy - thanks a lot
I ramble these ancient streets all the time. Such a shame so many people who come here do all the overcrowded expensive crap and miss out on the proper soul of this place
"Fleet Street is boring." I agree. Nice video! Thank you.
Thanks for watching - i was thinking only i find it boring and somehow 10minutes walking on it feels like 10hours :)))) - always happened like that for me !
@@unseenwalks: Fleet Street is more interesting if its history is known. And as you showed us, the streets around it are full of intriguing things. Next to the river are two of London's four inns of court, which provide lawyers for the courtrooms across the street. On up Fleet Street is St. Bride's church, whose basement contains ancient layers of ruins. London has more interesting stuff than one could investigate in a lifetime of walking around.
Wonderful I love London 💗
I didn’t know any of these places were there and I lived in London it beats getting cold watching you and doing the tour with you thank you I think it could be a restaurant can we pop Into Mac place and see him please
So amazing place and quite beautiful
Thanks for visiting
Beautiful walk by the Master Foss
Just found this video. I think it’s great you are recording London like this, it will never be as quiet or car free again. If it hasn’t been mentioned before The London Encyclopaedia will have an entry on every little street if you want info, although it’s a bit too big to carry in your pocket 😀👍
Glad you enjoyed it
It’s a city full of alleyways and secret passages! I’ve walked hundreds and still discover them!
Ohhh my God ....I love London and these little streets are so beautiful. The fraise of mr jhonson is fantastic......and his cat so beautiful . I can discover this unseen London thanks to you.
Now 9.15 pm in Argentina...and the new year is coming. I hope to be there in London but we save money cause the economic situation in argentina is not good. I work so hard cause I would like to know London and buy the appartment. Happy new year from my husband and me . A kiss for bonnie
Hi Carolina , indeend that fraise i say to famous :) - 10 years back i remember been in Buenos Aires ( was a great place , nice people and good atmosphere in weekend ) - A house in London will start from 300k to few good millions !
@@unseenwalks you know my dear Buenos Aires . Yes.. its a fantastic city. I hope you can visit again . Happy new year.
.....also some ON-SCREEN captions along with a short on-screen description would have been nice.
If you don't want to do it that way then perhaps, a time stamp listing of some of the more notable places along the way would have been great, too.
Either way it was still a very enjoyable 'walk' to accompany you on. Thanks for inviting us!!
Hi Trojanette -- my videos doesent have any voiceover or captions , same as my videos aren't 99% of the time, filmed to London Eye or Big Ben ( as other guys are doing it ) -- im different and i appreciate your comment :) thanks a lot

Immigrant in Spain? Nothing can be better than home sweet home !
Thank you for showing the bits of London I would have loved to explore when I visited many years ago. Best wishes
Hi Maria , stay tuned for the 2pm video , looks better than this one
Very beautiful city
Yes, thanks
Thank you for this walk around the some of the back alleys and streets of London City,, Sounds like maybe you live in the London area now possibly?
The Cemetery you passed St Duston's, I remember sounding familiar from a documentary I watched on CZcams about one of the outbreaks of the plague. The hour long film showed the 1665/66 outbreak of the black death and the peoples struggle with the dying and sickness in one area particular called pudding lane I believe,, within the Parish of St. Duston's.
I maybe getting pudding lane mixed up with the area where the great fire of London broke out ,, I am sorry I can't recall exactly.
One day I will get their to visit the cities and country.
Take care and I will be looking for more videos soon. Paul, Near Chicago, Illinois.
Great tips you told me Paul :) thanks again
Really interesting 🤔
thank you
Miss your London walks
This is sooo coool. On St. Dunstan's Library, those thick "walls" serve as "flying butresses" that hold up the unusually high windows without interior supports. Am I wrong? Cathedrals have these too.
thank you
Lovely view of some of the oldest preserved cities. What's mind boggling is that we know some of these buildings are almost 1000 years of age and that there are similar buildings even in the U.S. which they claim to be built in the last 150 years. There is a mayor flaw in history of mankind and the reason why the world is full of ruins, "lost"/discovered continents and why we had a few centuries of "dark age" after rome has collapsed.
Thanks for the good review my friend :)
What stabilizer that you use? Flawless swings and panos.... congrats 👏
