This video gave me a gentle nudge to not give up on hunting Voice of Tajik despite of today's failure with both in-built Whip Antenna and Long Wire Antenna. I will try again tomorrow. Great comparison video Sir. IMO D328 sounded very balanced despite of weak signal propagation out of all. 73! 🙏

That's the true spirit.
D-328 is one fine SW/MW Radio and its sound is my all time favourite. It's just that FM reception is average and sound can't go loud.
@@pravindersheoranji, Sir I think for 1.6k INR D-328 has justified the features it holds. FM is something that's according to me could be a subjective aspect receiver to receiver. And location plays a huge role too..
Also, I read somewhere that it is recommended to switch off the Radio completely before switching over the bands from FM to MW or to SW or among SW. Otherwise it may harm the radio circuitry on a longer run. Is it true or hold any basis as per you?
@@h.joshi_ ji, yes, a very decent Radio. Actually, I think it is a good practice to close Radio before changing bands, I have heard it too and I think it's logical.
Tecsun R9012 is analog but the performance is similar to DSP chip radios
Yes, except for FM, it's performance is all the best. Even in FM, it's performance is comparable to dsp chip Radios.

Have you purchased all Radios for comparison sake. In my early days, I have assembled Delhi sets with 3 IFTs Continental make, Stancore, Toshiba SW and MW coils with L-Plates during 1983 and still in working condition (not checked) but kept in working condition. Now I have so many Brands viz. Sony, Panasonic, Grundic Stereo music boy model 5 bands big size like Philips Skipper. But what I observed in terms of Top ranking in sensitivity and clarity is in the order Sanyo, Grundig, National, Panasonic,

It must have been so much fun dealing with all those Radios during the golden age of Radio.
I just collect them for several reasons, primary being my passion for them and secondary being running this channel which is my humble effort to not only save Radio but also being back the trend of listening Radios.
So many people have come here and commented that they returned to the Radio after joining this channel. This is a huge achievement for me and a great pleasure as well as satisfaction.
One major aim of this channel is to provide the technical information in very easy to understand manner to general public in addition to helping people choose right Radios according to their requirements.

9490 khz & 11611khz merged together & broadcast from xizang China, broadcast regional prog in bengali language every evening from 6.30 pm for bangaladeshi listeners..& INDIA also broadcast several languages program lik Arabic, Hindi, Swahili, Tamil along with Mandarin over 15050-15410khz(120m band) 😉😎..

@@loneranger5700 brother, I tuned all those frequencies. Yes, I have tuned them many times while searching through SW bands.
Many of them are not Chinese actually, but some other private SW stations which have been broadcasting since long time. But they are not commercial broadcasts but religious channels.
Thanks for mentioning them though, because of you I scrolled through SW after many days.
Since the beginning of this channel, all my daily life schedules have been heavily disturbed.

Pagaria R-917 & Xhdata D-328 are running on rechargeable batteries. But, yes, Tecsun R-9012, Xhdata D-219 and Philips DL-167 run on normal cells.
But my digital kchibo kk 939 b is also running in pencil cell,,it's been 20 days I m operating it daily average 3 hrs and is still running smoothly with 2 new pencil cell,,,although it has option of DC 3v with adaptor but I prefer cell as while running on adaptor electrical interference hampers mw sound quality
@@pravindersheoran but philips bahadur runs smoothly for atleast 2 months with 🔋 even though you operate atleast 3-4 hrs pr day,,,it has option of adaptor also but the basic convenience of portable Radio is lost in adaptor,,,moreover while operating in adaptor electrical interference hampers MW Sound quality
@@abhaysinghshekhawat6110 ji, we are not talking about using adaptors but we are talking about a Radio having rechargeable battery in it. So that battery can be charged again and again, and the Radio still remains a portable one after the battery is fully charged.

Aap ne jo fm radio ke signal antenna banaya hai Main bhi thik usi tarah antenna banaya tha lekin dur ke FM channel nahi pakarta jesse red fm,fm one etc
Mera ghar ke 200 km ke aas pach koi fm stations nahi. Toh phir kya mere radio main station signal 📶 nahi pakar payega. Jara baatayein.
Ji, 200 km bahut door ho jata hai, itni door ke FM radio nahi pakad sakta. Ho sakta hai Xhdata D-808 jaisa Radio pakad ke signals, Antenna ki help se aur better bhi pakad le; lekin wo 24 hour nahi ho sakta, aur mausam par bhi depend hoga.

OR main XHDATA 808 jo ki 9000 ke karib hai. Main aap se jana chahta hoi ki, agar 1000 kms main agar maan liya jaiy KOI FM STATION na ho toh Iss radio se suna ja sakte hai. kripiya reply. Mara ghar pahar ke uccha chooti hai so aaha koi station nahi hai.
Itni jyada door ke FM world ka koyi Radio ya koyi Antenna nahi pakad sakta ji. Aap iss mahange Radio ko lekar apne paise waste mat kijiyega. Aap online hi sun payenge, koyi Radio aapki help nahin kar payega.

XHData 291 is very bad but pagaria 5 band radio is very good. Chinese models are not good at all.
Arun ji, Pagaria bhi aur ab to Bahadur bhi China se ban kar aata hai. Sony ke Radio bhi. Sab kuch China se ban raha hai, chahe local market mein 500 Rs ke Radio mil rahe hon ya USA mein Eton/Grundig ke 20,000 ke Radio. Sab China se ban raha hai sahab. Kya karein.

Suryanarayan ji, noise or static on AM band is just a normal thing. This is because of the electrical appliances or wires around you and your house.
If possible, take it away from city someday where there is no electricity equipment or wires are present; the noise should wipe out. If still that kit kit remains, your Radio is defective on AM band.
