love the I, Assassin image. Great record and nice version too. Saw him in last year in London and he is still great. Such a shame he is not playing anything from this album besides Noise, Noise which is actually a b-side.
Often left out of the classic Numan Lp's... Need to relisten... the synth hooks & flourishes are all there... just with more prominent basslines, a fretless bass, in fact... last great album of that seminal blast of fame...

Thanks for posting, never heard this before...Ad lib vocals sound very different, different lyrics? The Arp Odyssey siren sound is taken way down in the mix and there's more reverb on the vocals. I think the CP30 is playing different chords as well..Gary's guitar playing is different as well...Wonder why this remix was comissioned? I prefer the original 7"....
At this point in his career Numan was untouchable. His fusion of synth and heavy bass lines is simply majestic. A real icon.
