Much of the city was built in the 1800s and early 1900s - during the Victorian era (1825-1901) to Edwardian Era (1901-1978). Homes built during each unique period reflected the cultural tastes at the time, which changed often. That's why San Francisco has such a stunning variety of homes.

Cool video, but made for architecture students or something,...for ex: what the heck is an eave ?? A battlement or a parapet ?? You also should've waited for only beautiful sunny days to shoot,....not dismal depressing overcast days.
