I agree that it's lovely to have a chilled night in, light some nice candles, close all of the curtains to shut out the outside world, make a nice meal and give yourself a really nice treat. 😊You put it across perfectly! I also like to do that with having a few friends around for a chilled evening in, that would make a really nice vlog. ❤

Greetings from Colorado! I really enjoy the mix of home and horses, dogs, cooking, etc. that you put in your videos. How wonderful to also see actual books featured! Quite rare these days, but adds so much richness to a home. I love the new sideboard. The lamp looks great there. I would keep the other corner as it is with the big vase and just add a free-standing lamp. I think it will look cozy like that.

I totally get the texture thing. I struggle with things that are just smooth as it doesn’t feel like I’ve eaten. I would have to have bread with soup and definitely wouldn’t want yogurt without anything in it. Definitely going to get this cereal. X

A house without books just isn’t a home. I’m glad you are choosing books you love. My husband and I are book addicts. We have probably over 1,000 books. I think we live in a library. I have built in bookcases on either side of our main fireplace, bookcases line our upstairs hallways (thank goodness for wide halls) , built in bookcases on either side of a window seat in the master bedroom, plus we both have bookcases in our home offices. They are jam packed full of books. I need to edit them out again. I no longer buy fiction. I read that on a Kindle because I’m only going to read them once. We each specialize in certain areas. Mine are travel, decor, gardening, biographies and music. My husband collects history, especially WW2, telecommunications history, trains, photography and inventors. We also have some cookbooks but it’s time to unload most of those because with a diabetic in the house we no longer cook the same way and we don’t bake.😥

Ahh thank you! So Desi was actually a name that I had thought about if I were to ever have a baby girl (always loved since watching Desi Perkins when I was younger!) but when we went to see Desi as a puppy I just thought it suited her so well. For Bolly, he was originally going to be called Ozzie (like Ozzie Osborne plus he looks like he’s wearing eye liner) however we decided Desi & Ozzie sounded too similar and they would get confused on a walk for recall. Bolly was also the most uncoordinated, clumsy pup and would constantly fall and bump into things we would say ‘he’s been on the Bolly’ as in Bollinger champagne. And then Bolly was born! 🤣

You may find that non fat yogurt has added sugar. You’re better off having 2% fat. Check the grams of sugar just to be sure. Museili and granola also have tons of added sugar.TBH, we now know it’s better to have eggs and fruit in the morning. The eggs will stick with you. We’ve also learned that the amount of cholesterol in eggs won’t kill us. Food manufacturers are killing us with all the added sugar they put in almost everything. It’s very difficult to eliminate all sugar. Good for you for giving it a go. No sugar in your tea must be tough for a Brit.
