Offset just protecting his woman like a true man is supposed to. He obviously had a better contract even with having to split the proceeds from a group vs. Her situation. He measured the odds and acted according to his duty. Cardi understood, put her man 1st like she supposed to and their actions as a team was justified.....in my opinion. On the other hand...business is business & not emotion. You can go off a contract but this is a pure case of business vs. morality.

I dislike when people only report half of the story. Shaft charged her 20% as a personal manager, which is a tad bit high. However, a year later, he then signed her to a second management company, that just so happened to be his as well. Under this second agreement, the company would receive 50% of music royalties, 50% of copyright, and another 25% of other earnings. This includes neither Atlantic’s piece of the pie nor the allegations that Shaft stole money. As a manager, you have a fiduciary responsibility to act in the best interest of your client and not in your own self- interest. Cardi’s attorney will argue that he breached the agreement first by violating that responsibility and doing the opposite.
che498 if this is facts, she still breach the contract, however if their r receipts to show that for each payment he paid her less than what she should get and if the lawyers can prove that he is swindling her trhough a dummy company (his company ) on the bases of fraud, conflict of interest (self jnterest) she has a case.
