Ampe is Ghanaian Traditional Game. This are my brothers and sisters playing Ghana Ampe and Sasankroma. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy....

Ok, Thanks You So Much For Watching😊😊, Please I don't know of mpeewa, I guess you were writing Oyouwa(same). Playing same legs at the same time when playing Ampe it called Oyouwa.

I was taught that song at school but we have only learnt half the words correctly, I’ve always wanted to know the true words!

thanks for explaining these games! really very nice! I still don't quite understand the rules. I am looking for traditional games played in Africa. A friend of mine told me about Ampe. I don't quite understand his explanation, so I did a search on CZcams and came across your video. What I understand so far is that you have two teams. one of the members of a team is going to jump and clap, when he stops he puts one leg forward. if the other team puts the same leg forward they have won a point, but if they have another leg forward they have lost a point. Only the shooting and the five points I don't quite understand 😬. Hopefully I can get an explanation in time. greetings from Klazien from the Netherlands

Okay great to have you here,
1:34 the team with the lady is the different legs(okonto) and the other team same legs is "oyouwa" ...so when you jump n clap and different legs met as shown in 1:10 that means okonto has won so they get five points n the power to shoot oyouwa member..... I hope this helps n please share with others and subscribe ❤

@@filmkiba9645 I hope I'm okay now. There are two teams Okonto the other leg and Oyouwa the same leg. If Okonto's player starts he will jump and clap and so will an Oyouwa player, if they stop and Oyouwa's player has a different leg forward than Okonto's then it's the next Oyouwa player's turn . Then if the next player has the same leg forward as the player of Okonto, it is the next player of Okonto's turn. Until one of the teams has no player left. Suppose the Okonto team has no player left, then Oyouwa may "shoot" a player away from Okonto who is not allowed to come back. Like a of the teams of the other team has "shot" all players then they get 5 points. You do this until one of the teams has 20 points, which are the winners. I hope I understood correctly
