I would agree. Most of my favorite bands sound better live than on album versions, most of the bands that I kind of like or don't like, sound worse.
I have adored this song for years. The haunting melody is so beautiful and the emotion is amazing. So glad to see that this band is finally getting the recognition they deserve.

I haven’t listened to any other sings by them, but a surprisingly this song was exactly like the original. Love it when the song is as good as the original.
I am so glad I watched an old movie today "barefoot" and discovered this great band. Great song for this psychological brokenness between 2 people.

If you hear this and don't feel anything you gotta work on that. Forgot about this group until recently and you can see the co-frontman/singer tearing up after that performance and trying to hide it by wiping sweat. This song is extremely emotional without trying to be so. It just oozes genuine emotion.

This is the only song I know of that actually talks about the rejecters point of view.

The rejecter is not happy about having to reject, the rejecter never wanted to be put into the position where she/he has to knowingly crush a persons heart. Its not a fun situation for either party. And I love the fact this band had the balls to write a song talking about the rejectors point of view.

Actually it could have 2 scenarios, either your straight, and your best friend is gay and in love with you, OR the other way around. In my case it was the other way around, I loved my best friend unconditionally, and was very important to him, but he could never love me back...

my girlfriend tuned me in to of monsters and men and when I heard their album this song stood out to me. When I marry my girl I want them to play at our wedding I'll pay or something I just need this song to be a live performance at our wedding because I felt a deep emotion I've never felt with her when listening to this song. I love My girl and this is her favorite band and I'll do anything to have them play live at our wedding.

nanna (the lead female singer) originally wrote the song before the band was formed and then they redid it for their first studio album. i personally don’t think it’s about anyone in the band.

These guys are so great, I have this video saved forever and revisit it often.
I'm so happy for these live videos...I took a peek at more of their music on iTunes after falling in love with Little Talks...but the other songs didn't really appeal to me. It's much more appealing when hearing them sing live, move around, see their faces...I can get into the music more.
