I love the paleness, I absolutely hate dark grids. Although my eyes are older too, and I admit that I often can’t see the grid either. Haha, I love the 4mm grid, I wish the dot grid came in the 4mm grid. I hope they keep extending the range and keep these options. I’d love a blank for a collections book and dot grid for personal bullet journalling. I generally love grid - like others I wish they’d bring it out without that watermark at the top!

I love Stalogy, but I am more of a fan of the B6, also because of the 5mm. I use those for journaling and since this month as my writing planner. It is good that they have come out with more options, I believe there is also a blanc one. For my A5 notebook I use since a few months the Miguel Rius 300 pages notebook for my scrapbooking and even though it is delicate, because of the spine (not sown in)I love the paper and the 5mm graph grid. For 2022, well everything is still open. There are a few months left to decide. I applaud you for your no spend. I am not going to make it through 2022 without a few purchases... or more.

    I love Stalogy. I use a B5 to journal, doodle & watercolor. I use a B6 that i formatted as a 5 year journal

Along for the ride! I have planners for 2022 and am currently deciding on a personal journal for 2022. 🤪

agree stalogy grid the best, I think grid is different paper vs stalogy blank

Very interesting video! I consider using a stalogy in grid for the first time in 2022 as my bulletjournal. But I am not sure about the size, either B6 or A5. Up to now, I always used an A5, either a Leuchtturm or an MD notebook. Still struggling with the decision about the size though…..💕🥰

I found this really interesting, Lora! I have been a loyal Stalogy user for years and a grid girl. However, the idea of no watermark is intriguing and worth a consideration so thanks for that! I'll tell you that I've even changed sizes to a narrow and love the Stalogy so much, I have the A5 grid cut down! I'd love to hear your thoughts on the Archer and Olive because I feel like that paper is really thick...have a wonderful day!

Thanks for the review. I’ve been very tempted by the dot grid, but I don’t think I can work with the super-pale dots. And I don’t like the smaller grid in the Stalogy A5-wish they had the 5mm grid like the B6.

Hi Lora, I know this is an old video but hoping you still see comments.
Do you have any updated advice after using the dot grid for a while? I got a dotted Stalogy, and have been wondering ever since why I'm getting significant bleeding even just with EF and F fountain pen nibs, when so many others specifically hold up Stalogy as being fountain pen friendly. Of course they're usually using a square grid, but I always assumed the two were interchangeable.
This is the only video I've found that suggests the paper in the square grid vs the dot grid actually reacts differently. Would love to know how this turned out for you

I struggle to see the light grid on the Stalogy pages. I already hunch over, lol! 😂

I don’t write small at all and prefer 5mm grid or dot grid.

That’s my only downside with Stalogy is the grids are light. I like to work in low light because of my migraines. I also hate that the A5 is a smaller grid then the B6.

@@LorasPlan I know a lot of people love the small gird so they cut down the A5. For me it would make sense to put small grid in the smaller books since it’s already smaller.
Luckily moleskine works well for me.

Hi Lora, how can you tell the black dot A5 apart from the black grid A5 without the colorful removable wrappers?
In 2022, I'll probably stick to the original A5 grid because it gives me more lines per page. :)
    ...and, thanks for your review!

If its not too much whats you’re current inventory of all the notebooks you have… from each brand? I’m very curious because I was unaware i had a “problem” my self and ended up with 13 moleskine notebooks and am now down to 3 (unused); 4 markings grid note books (almost done with the last one) and my first ever Stalogy. This paper made me want to just forsake all the othe notebooks I have left. ITS THAT GOOD!!!!!!

@@LorasPlan I share your pleasant pain. I have the nerve to actually get more stalogy notebooks of each color and each label color except regular ruled (makes me think I’m filling out an application for some reason> tell us why you want to work here or where do you see yourself working in the next 5….).
I already have an ink addiction (don’t worry I think I have it under control) I almost bought 4 of the same ink because it was the best one that made my pilot write glassy smooth…..
Now that I think about it I think I might as well go and get all of the note books.
Got a lot of assignments I want to transfer to paper. Now I have a reason to write to a 3rd degree.
I’ll go and look for that vlog…..

I’ve had stuff cut at Office Depot before. It used to be $1 per cut. Should be relatively inexpensive.
