Congratulations!!!! Loved seeing you at at race ! I wanted an autograph but you jetted too fast . Me and my husband also did the race . It was just nice seeing someone you admire in public , maybe next time I’ll meet you !
That was surprisingly riveting for a no-footage account of the race. Sounds like you did great and there's still tons of room for improvement!
here before dad comments. we are all proud of how far you've come
Dad Klau finally here! Joining the proud crowd!
Saw you after the race, looked like you didn't break a sweat! The water felt super super fast this weekend, I think everyone who raced had their best swim!
Love the progression, Ari. Step by step.
Great result Ari. Keep it rolling. Looking forward to your next race.
Success. Been following you for a while. Congrats on a great race
Such a fantastic result! Thrilled for you, Ari! Hard work pays off 💪
Congrats Ari. Your hard work and patience is paying off. 😊
YES! You deserve this, all the hard work is paying off.
Super motivating for me to hear it and really excited to see your continued progression!
Nice work! Love the recap. Cool to hear all the little technical difficulties and how you worked through them.
You killed it! Great result and breakthrough performance.
Great race ari!
Congratulations! Great race, and loved the no frills recap. Keep it up and you’ll get there soon.
Congrats. Bravo... I have seen your process and this performance shows the level of your commitment. 👍
Great work, broski. Keep it up, be the best 🤘🏼
Nice job, Ari! You earned it.
Awesome stuff! Happy for you! 🤘

Great breakdown man, well done on the performance!
Great race, progress is king 👑

Consistency week after week is paying off, and will continue to, as you said! Pumped for you bro!!
**Also big Shout out to the early race morning shake out run to get the first 💩 out 😂
big ups to kevin and stacy. good work ari
Hey from a fan in GA who's from the Seattle area. Good luck in Indian Wells. Glad Augusta was good to you! I did that event on a relay team 10 years ago (I was the cyclist).
Good effort 👏 . Enjoy following your progress.
Poor sleep and fever/chills before race… maybe too many carbs with pre race nerves
Amazing to see!!
I find your running so impressive. I can't comprehend how you swim and then bike like the terminator before you even get to the run. Congrats on the strong finish and thanks for the content. Can't wait to see more. Cheering you on from Canada!
Grats Ari 🔥
Congrats!!!! :)
Congrats, Ari! Excited to see what happens going into next season for sure.
Would be super curious to see the science you’re referring to when it comes to slamming 1000 g of carbs a day before.
Well done Ari!🥉
Well done!
Your gonna make it big brother
was such a great performance, hype for next year
Good job!
Nice job!
Best race of your career so far!
well done ari
Proud mama coming in late 😀
I got a fever... and the only prescription... is more cowbell!
Awesome job. I hope you made enough to support the expensive Chipotle addiction!
In Ari we trust
Great job! Order a tamp pad to improve extraction for better espresso! ☕️💨
Awesome! That’s my hometown!!
well done
Here's to Keytone-free downriver swims!

Hey maybe the carb loading is related to you having a bad sleep?
Nice work Ari. Do you think that the high carb intake affects sleep? I had a similar experience recently after doing 800g of carbs before an ultra.
To be quiet honest with you if anything it should put you into a sleep or groggy mode. So it tends to happen if for example we eat a big lunch we get sleepy towards the rest of the work day. Whereas if you eat high sugary foods you get that quick burst of energy and if your eating more sugary foods before bedtime probably will affect your sleep. But high carb foods like pasta and stuff is probably not keeping you awake at night. Maybe just excess caffeine throughout the day or nerves etc.
I wondered the same. I usually do my big carb day 2 days out from the race
Hello Ari, congratulations on your 💪🏼 finish. I was trying to understand that last part. Were you saying that you need to invest in an expensive, top end bike to really compete for the podium?
Quite the opposite. I need better legs! Bike, position, equipment etc are all solid. Could save a few watts for sure but that’s not what’s keeping me off the podium.
@@archmdz Thank you for the clarification!
"PB for horrible sleep" 🤣 Congrats
Which power meter are you currently using ?
Superman I don’t know if you’re going for this, but are you going to try or have you made a qualifying time for Olympic trials?🥴😍
LOL I hate Augusta 70.3. When you finish your car is one direction and far away, your bike is in an opposite direction and far away, and you having just finished the race realizing somehow you have to get your bike and your car together in the same location to go home and the bike transition is closed off to cars. I almost left my Tri bike and just crawled to my car to go home....
💯👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Shout out Patrick Brady

why you didn't that's all the sugar you consumed the day before
Hi Ari. Congratulations (especially on getting a WC qualification slot for Taupo 70.3 next December). I have two questions:
1. No Ironman Florida this year? (An assumption based on your last comment ‘next up Indian Wells’); and
2. Have you repeated that ‘one big volume week, followed by a recovery week and then 2-3 weeks of less volume-more quality’ protocol you talked about a few months ago when discussing not over-training? (IU think a follow up video would be worth watching).
All the best. Andrew
Ps. Are you are planning on actually coming down to Taupo, NZ and competing at 70.3 Worlds next December (now you have qualified)? If so, please let me know if you’d like to ‘winter in Australia’ afterwards (for our Aussie summer). If so, I can hook you up with some excellent swim coaches (still and open water triathlon) so that by the time you go back to the states, you should be able to swim bullshit fast and make the front pack - or at least the second - every race. Let me know.
Im not familiar with triathlon - are you allowed to draft other cyclists? You made it sound like you were riding in a pack which surprised me.
The rule is you have to stay 12m behind the cyclist in front of you. However, at 40kph+ there is still a significant draft to being 12m behind the rider in front of you. Even more so if youre riding behind 10 guys (even though you’re 120m behind the leading cyclist). It’s a huge advantage in these races to ride with a group than to ride solo, however it was really only me and 2-3 other guys taking turns on the front. The other 10+ guys in the group were just sitting back there conserving energy.
@@archmdz ok thanks for the explanation. glad you placed better than all those wheel suckers!
late algo
What a peculiar fella.
When the SOF of event is 78.5, and your respective 5th place is 15 minutes back from Uber kind MIKA Noordt, 5th does not actually carry much weight! GG! All the best at Worlds in 2024 in Taupo, NZ.
It was a pleasure to meet you Ari 🙌,at transition on Saturday bike drop off 🦾.
Keep pushing 🦾
Congratulations on a great day. It was a PB day for me too 🙌🙌
