Laddo will forever be known as a clinger now. Haha. The Moonhawk is basically a tuna can on wheels. The slightest hit and it crumples instantly.
The body crumples awfully. Yet the suspension seems fairly strong. Radiator is bad even when it’s not destroyed lmao
Finally - BeamNG the way it was supposed to be played: A bunch of friends crashing into each other. Wreckfest basically, but fun.
Wreckfest is more fun than playig beamng drive on demolition derbys

Wreckfest has an engine SFX (same as the "Viper V10" in FH4, I believe) that I find intolerable. Never cared for the handling feel on an Xbox controller either. To each their own.
A sandbox version of Wreckfest, to be specific.

I'm glad you guys finally got together and decide to do something with this. Because watching this was a lot of fun I kinda wish more people took part in it however
I want to see the BeamNg devs improve this mod and make it a standard feature. It would be fun to see how the community play with it

After driving it myself, I feel like a video where you absolutely send cars around that massive figure 8 would be very entertaining. Maybe even do it multiplayer as well, just to see whose car can last the longest? I'd say the rule would be if you can't jump over the crossovers, you're out.
I would suggest using either Realistic shifting mode or every car uses an Automatic. Driving around in first gear constantly during this will ride the clutch almost all the time and burn it up. The reason the moonhawk also overheats is due to the lack of airflow and the constant load + high rpm on it. The I6 for the moonhawk is not a good motor hence why it barely has any configs in the first place.
Fuck that clutch I’ll see it in hell

This is my favourite FailRace series for quite some time! Would love to see more BeamMP stuff in the future.
during the race i got instability detected, hence why my car stopped dead. was a good filming session and hope we get to do more soon
This was good to watch, though the somewhat lackluster impact sounds seems to have a stealth effect on how much damage the car actually sustains. Definitely a contender for alt Wreckfest, even if a tad less pretty.

I'd like to see some kind of driven til destruction elimination race. Last one to cross the line each lap will get eliminated so there will be a strategy of crawling to preserve your car but not so much that you'll get eliminated.

Feel like you need to turn off clutch assistant and drive with proper manual w/ clutch in demo derbys
The engine had plenty of life but your clutch was overheating and killing and movement you might've had
That grand marshall(The police car) by the sounds of it has a big old american 5.5 liter V8 in it, and in beamng those engines are tough. Thats probably one of the reasons that car was so good in this challenge. It probably also has double the horsepower of many cars here.
Absolutely loved this video! It would be very cool to see a police chase or rallycross showdown in multiplayer beam in the future!

In my experience, the Grand Marshall is the #1 survivor against any other car (and most of the trucks) 1v1 as long as your fuel tank under the back doesn't break.

I’d like to see some tight knit nascar style multiplayer race in BeamNG or perhaps some historical Pre-War racing! With how fragile those cars were, it’d be awesome seeing them throw down on Beam!

next time you do one of these, i recommend the Roamer and the D-series for these, they are incredibly durable

I know this might sound completely insane, but can someone make a mod for BeamNG where the cars start out smashed up, and crashing repairs them? Might be an interesting twist for this kind of game mode, so you're repaired and going fast at the end.

I have an idea for your tournament. Use a figure 8 track but add a 10th player that is a powerful, large vehicle (truck or a bus) and let the driver ram all of you. Last one alive wins.

@@AssistantToTheRegionalManager Not exactly what I had in mind... There was a "gamemode" on a ps2 game called Test Drive: Eve of Destruction that featured a bus that had to destroy the drivers before they finished their laps.

I went out of my way to set up all 14 derby cars in a race via the script AI tool and I have no idea why I bothered with something so tedious... even if the races ended up super cinematic, when they didn't pile up at the start.
I would love to see some VSTC racing in beamNG, now that it's just about possible.

I love this! But watching the cars just crawling around isn’t the most gripping to watch. I suppose that’s just the way with beam! Maybe some modified cars for extra speeds??
