The upcoming project of Bataan Cavite Interlink Bridge also known as Manila Bay Bridge will be even bigger than this bridge. I really hope it will become a reality.
@@sran5947 How about plans for the bridge between Cordova - Jetife.. following interested. CCLEX was planned & started long before DU30 administration and ground braking ceremony have to keep the facts ruling in this huge project of CCLEX. God bless sr, Santo Nino bridge and Cebu!
@@leolopponen9010 There is a 4th bridge planned but I'm not sure if it's the one you refer to. And yes, planning for CCLEX started in the PNoy admin but actual construction started in the Duterte admin. It is not that simple and easy to build a bridge over a moving sea...they needed to do ground/soil analysis before you can even dig for the foundation and this takes time.
@@leolopponen9010 its a colaboration between the private and public government entities , and the BBB program fast tracked the project that's why the construction is pretty productive not like past administration where the progress of constructions are slow as turtle.

Sigurado ako.. Proud ang mga trabahador dyan. Pagdating ng panahon, makikita nila na sobrang ganda ng tulay, at masasabi nila na isa sila sa mga gumawa ng tulay na yan.
Maybe it is the God's plan. He sent his sons to the other country to train skilled works. and now by this pandemic he sent back his sons to the Philippines to built quality roads, bridges, airports and other transport projects for better access to the new Golden Church of a new Jerusalem.

That's literally manual labor. They are pulling a leading/guide cable (not stay cable) that goes way up inside the length of the protective sheath (the white colored pipe connected between the pylon and the deck) . The other end of the leading/guide cable is connected to the actual strand currently on the reel (black color - there six of them on the deck) sitting on the deck. Hmmm, by the time they complete installing all strands of the cable, they'll have pop-eye's biceps and triceps and also thick callus on their hands and fingers even though they're wearing construction hand gloves 😓😩

I have watched the construction process from the start and I say it is a masterpiece of construction a very nice design and difficult to construct, I am back in Canada after being in Cebu for some 10 plus years and still follow the construction and will follow this till the work is completed and open for traffic, again my compliments to the design engineers and the construction crews, both equally important.
Yes, I am a construction manager and have been for some 30 years, yes build some small bridges, but this one is unique and very long, but esthetically pleasing. Excellent project!!!!!
