  • Bonus video from Pastor and First Lady's 22nd Pastoral Anniversary service. Enjoy!
    Sing the wondrous love of Jesus,
    Sing His mercy and His grace;
    In the mansions bright and blessed
    He'll prepare for us a place.
    Refrain:
    When we all get to heaven,
    What a day of rejoicing that will be!
    When we all see Jesus,
    We'll sing and shout the victory!
    While we walk the pilgrim pathway,
    Clouds will overspread the sky;
    But when trav'ling days are over,
    Not a shadow, not a sigh.
    (Refrain)
    Let us then be true and faithful,
    Trusting, serving every day;
    Just one glimpse of Him in glory
    Will the toils of life repay.
    (Refrain)
    Onward to the prize before us!
    Soon His beauty we'll behold;
    Soon the pearly gates will open;
    We shall tread the streets of gold.
    (Repeat refrain)

    Whoever composed this old hymn surely had the fire of the spirit burning so.

    Jesus (as God) did not stand on a podium among his disciples, just as a father does not stand up in a chair and does not speaks standing on a chair to his family, but sits among them and talks to them. The congregation is a family, they form a circle, everyone can comment and there are no laymen in it! But we shepherds today are mucho beter and more important than Jesus: we stand on a podium and from there we speak to the "laity" because we like to stand out.
