    This recipe is made to withstand the summer months as well as the winter. It won’t easily melt because the butter to oil ratio is higher.

    I really like this method. I also seen a video where someone used squeeze bottles with their butter and it would be perfect with this method. I hate seeing ppl use plastic bags. It’s just a waste of product.

    Thanks for this! Because I made my first Shea body butter mixture for myself and over whipped it. It’s still great but the consistency dried to a harder, chunky texture. Not buttery at all but I have to work it in my hands to melt it down so I whipped it too hard 😂

    I like this method. I will try tomorrow. Do you add arrowroot powder? I added a small amount to my body butter this morning man it's so stiff i had to throw it out after i put it in the jars🤦🏿‍♀️ never using arrowroot powder again.

      Yes I do use arrowroot, that’s not what makes it stif tho, unless you used a lot. It may be how long you whipped it or your butter to oil ratio that made it stiff

    It does look so lush, so you don't need to add arrowroot or anything else to combat a greasy feeling? Or with the mango butter does it absorb well, thanks for the video 😁

    Hi I want to try this recipe out. If I substitute the coconut oil for different oils would that be fine? I would still make it 8oz of oil but just use 2 to 3 different oils would I get the same consistency?

    Do you use unrefined or refined shea butter ? I used unrefined shea butter and found that the smell of the shea butter over powered the smell of the essential oils no matter how much essential oil I put in.. Do you have any tips ?

      Fragrance doesn’t change the consistency. And yes you’d divide it between whatever oils you have

    When I made my body butter, after a day, the oils started showing a bit, at the end of the container. I didn’t add water to the mixture. What causes it? Too much oils or what?

      I have learned that if you dont add moisture to your oils they will last longer. Make sure your hands are not damp when using no Water should get into the mix. It it is hot I would not place plastic over it
