    This pack is at the top of my list after meeting a guy in Zermatt Switzerland with it, I was like damn I need that pack!

    Good job Ellen...but I decided on the larger version, Lowepro Photo Sport 300... I don’t pack a lot of camera gear, like other photographers, they must enjoy lugging 50 lbs of equipment to use one body and maybe two lenses, but, I primarily shoot with my Nikon D750 with 28-300, which is bulky enough...but when I shoot I know my back pack will not strain my back with the other gear I don’t use...

    I have the 300 BP, it is aswome backpak but the place where the water hidration gets is the most stupid place to be. Overall an good bag for daytrip. I cannot use a water full of 2 litres because it hurts how it feels on my back, so it is the only complain. Great backpack overall!

    You Know its Lowepro right? even in your article you use lower pro but again it's Lowepro.
    Thanks for the good review though.

    This is a really helpful review, thanks. Do you think you could get a camera out without removing either shoulder strap? Or is the compartment too far behind you to do that? Thanks.

      It's VERY easy to access the camera without having to take off the pack. You just reach aroudn to the side!

    I have been considering this pack and I appreciate you actually showing how big that top open compartment is! That was my main question about this bag.

    • @coachellyn
      @coachellyn  Před 6 lety

      No problem! Admittedly, on the 200 the top open compartment doesn't have that much storage space. So if you're planning on bringing a lot with you, you might want to check out the 300 and see if it has more space. But I'm still able to get quite a big in it. A wallet. Food. A jacket. So it realyl depends on how much extra stuff you think you'll be putting in it! Glad the video was helpful!

    Thanks for the review Ellyn. Do u think tht my Canon 5D m2 with 24-105mm lens will fit in it? Cheers.

      I can fit my Nikon D5100 with an 18-55mm lens in the one part of the camera pocket and an additional 55-300mm zoom in the other part of the pocket. So, even though the body of your Canon 5Dm2 is bigger than the body of my Nikon, at the very least you'd be able to take your body and lens apart and they will likely fit just fine in the camera pocket! If you're concerned, though you could consider getting the larger version of this pack - the 300AWII - which I believe has a bigger camera pocket than the 200. The actually advertise the 300 pack for a Canon 5D on their website! Hope that helps! :-)

    Hi Ellyn! Could you pls advise if the hydration pocket of 200AW can fit 13" MacBook?

    • @coachellyn
      @coachellyn  Před 6 lety +1

      The hydration pocket is too narrow to fit the Maxbook. But you would likely be able to fit it down the front of the main pocket. If you're really wanting to carry a laptop and are concerned about size, I would suggest looking into the 300 AWII.

      Thank you for the reply and yes, agreed to go for 300AWII. :)

    Ellyn, you have missed the main point of this Lowepro Photo Sport BP 200 AWII camera backpack. I have seen a comment that "the bottom compartment should extend all the way to the side of the bag." NUTS! Inside the bag with the front facing you on the inside right hand side is a compartment that you can fit a tripod in. It will take this tripod with no trouble: MeFOTO GlobeTrotter Carbon Fiber Travel Tripod Kit (Black). Currently I keep a flat German tripod in the front and use the actual tripod part for other things but the GlobeTrotter is a fantastic tripod. www.leephotostudio.com

      themistocles I wouldn’t say I missed the point of the bag. That’s just not how I use it but I’m glad to know it has that function!
