I know buying a Shelby is becoming a trend lately but Nico getting a Shelby makes me happy because I remember all the old videos where he’d talk about a Shelby being his dream car. I’m loving these GT500 videos
The price dropped major after ford announced the 2020 GT500 is why I bought mine in 2019. However, I thought the trend as of late is all about the hellcats? 🙄 Fanboys of them talking they started the HP wars again forgetting that this beast came in 2013.

Cold air, off road mid pipe, and a pulley would see 700s
No need for the O/R x pipe to get 700. VMP has a kit that does TB, intake, Pullie that does it. Then you can still pass smog in most states.

Stock:
590 wheel -> ~ 680hp crank
Tune + T/B:
650 wheel -> ~ 745hp crank
rajan dhaliwal yup! That’s the main reason the stock crank hp # on the Hellcat’s are laughable (707 lol) more like 760hp crank & 700tq crank.. bone stock Hellcat’s 2015-18 have put down 650 to 670Whp & 600-610Wtq
T U where did you get 760 from ??? If they were rated that high dodge would price the hellcats higher don’t you think ??? There rated at 707 for a reason
Don’t get caught up on dyno number to much.. different dyno read lower or higher.. you determine how much whp by trap speed and weight of car with you in it..two different dynoyet can read different..
Jozer SS come on man cut it out. Trust me. I’ve owned 3 SRT cars & I now own a Challenger Hellcat 6M. Trust me when I tell you that the 707/650 advertised rating is SRT Sandbagging..
There’s a reason that stock power 4500lb Hellcat’s on a Drag pack have run 10.70’s to 10.50’s @127-129mph..
I’ve personally seen a 100% Bone Stock on 91 octane Hellcat lay down 671Whp! there’s no way that equals “707 crank”
Just a 5.0 not disagreeing with that. That’s common knowledge. I’m only talking about my opinion on the power numbers.
I’m in Agreement with you. I’ve seen cars that don’t lay down impressive dyno numbers, but get them on a track in Good D/A & cool air temps & they run very impressive ET’s

Thats really good gains from just TB and tune, although a tune is more of a given when you mentioned modifications i was thinking more along the lines of besides the tune im doing pulley and e85 or pulley and tb with the tune being a given. thats badass though great numbers.

You need a cold air intake because the stock air intake has a muffler on it and that will stop the whine from the super charger
U need a jlt cold air so u can really hear the whine then some long tubes as well and smaller pulley

Plastic gears? That is concerning.. Does the Ford factory version also use plastic gears?
Intake, tune, pulley, off road h pipe, tires and suspension, and you will smoke just about anything. 700hp plus doesn’t matter without proper tires and rear suspension geometry. Should always get the chassis set up and then add power. My 2cents. Stock boss 302, 730rwhp 13 gt500, 997.2 TT with 670awhp
Glove box mount it. Keep it plugged in so you can log and stuff when you want and you can always just grab it and watch the gauges if you need/want

Lol I called those mods 3 videos ago when you put that front splitter on the car. A throttle body is a few simple bolts and a hose clamp, a hand held tuner plugs into your obd ll port and you remap the ecu.

Depends on the place.
Usually 500 for like 3 pulls. That's a rough average tho.
