This video makes me miss my Gran Turismo 4 days...
I started up my ps2 last week with gt4. Believe me, it was one of the best things i have played in years. So I would try it if I were you.
The recent community mods and overhauls for GT4 on PC are awesome
And let's not forget midtown madness
For me it makes me miss the Rfactor/GT legends/ GTR2 days...I think I'm gonna reinstall and play them again : ) Those were better times for games in general.

I watched this car battle in the ALMS series back in the day (the Panoz with older the white livery). At one race, I remember this car battling a Ferrari 333 SP at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. They both exhibited some very impressive and brave overtaking exchanges throughout the entire race. Everything about those two cars couldn't be more different... from their shape, their beautiful sound and design philosophy. The Ferrari v12 screamed like no other car on the track, but when they both came by the grandstand together, that Panoz V8 literally outdid everyone in terms of loudness. Talk about full-bore V8 taking on an exotic v12. The Ferrari did eventually win that day, but only by a small margin. Just epic!
The Panoz is so much louder in person, i was shook the first time it blew past me

These different camera positions are fantastic, to see some details usually unseen within the car and close racing outside... sooo good, almost as being a co-driver! 🔝👌🏼

Overtaking someone into eau rouge and putting yourself off line for entry in the wet is pretty brave, there's always moments in your vids where I'm thinking oh shit!
I got a rush of adrenaline in my stomach with some fear and I tensed up at that point!
off line is the line in the wet, the racing line gets slippery cause of the rubber
@@dc-vw4qm I don't know what gave you that idea, you can see the ideal line at 3 mins 22 secs and how much quicker that entry is than 4 mins 20 secs, it's not even close. That's a really challenging section of track and you will get eaten up or lose a lot of time over the top and down the Kemmel straight if you don't get it right.

Terrific onboard footage, man! I think the 90's was the coolest era for GT class racing cars. Also I'm curious if a Saleen S7R GT1 is on par with this Panoz GT1, two mighty american monsters besides vipers and corvettes : )
