  • Today we’re answering a question that we received from Instagram: “Can you talk about the end point of reflex integration work. What does that look like?”
We chat about what a reflex integration program looks like and how to create a “maintenance” program afterwards.

my son has mild autism, from a last few days he is tearing his nails e.g through thumb's nail he is trying to remove any figure's nail. I don't know if I could explain it properly but is this beacause of anxiety and fear?
What should I do to get rid of this?

It could be related to anxiety. Is he able to communicate what's going on? Maybe there's pain in his fingers and he thinks that removing his fingernails will help with the pain? Maybe try some new tactile activities like playing in a sensory bin, or providing deep pressure to help calm his nervous system. If you're able to work with a professional in-person, that's ideal.

Yes! There are specialists who work with individuals with dyslexia! A good place to start would be searching online!

I would like to join your course but my son is severely autistic and I am not sure if I could manage to work with him alone at home
He needs it but he won't let me me put him in the reflexes postures

That's definitely a challenge that many parents face! We recommend getting in-person services if possible!

Unfortunately this technique lacks sufficient evidence

Agreed, it's very unfortunate that the research is lacking! We are speaking from over 10 years of personal and professional experience as well as from hearing success stories from many clients!

I embarked on a primitive reflex integration journey with a “what’s the downside?” attitude. The results have been life changing. Thank you so much to the Harkla crew for what they do! Truly improving lives out here. Don’t care about what the “sufficient evidence” says lol

@@Alm11460 Evidence of any therapy doesn't depend on personal opinion, anecdotes or review
It takes years and years of research to validate any kind of therapy.
