      @@enriquebenson6919 depends on your country. Most TV channels have a catch up app so you can just rewatch the news like that. In Australia we have 10play, ABC iview, 9now, 7plus and probably heaps more

    Oh dear, i wouldn't fancy placing those tools in the basin. I'd put a towel or something in there first, if one slips out of your hand it might cause a chip

    You can use cooker hose bayonets on some hobs as the MI's let you. I would definitely do it in copper everytime just does not seem right for some reason on a hose!!!

    Mira 722 best shower ever produced built to last ,from the 70s I think and many still going strong but you put it back together upsides down,lever at bottom so you can see the temp numbers😉

    Find the mains cut off anyway so you know where it is if your stop valves leak or are seized or crack as these have all happened to me.

    Just an observation mate. If you used a 22 mm to 15 mm compression coupling you would only have had to solder one elbow👍🏻

    If the bath tap has a shower over it i would use loads of silicon to seal the taps into the bath or they will leak though especally if they have adaptor plates on the base of the tap.

    On a bath its not the normal hot left cold right, the hot is furtherest away from the side to stop children reaching it!

      That’s not correct, British water standard state got to the left and cold to the right so blind people know which tap in hit and which tap is cold

    Hi from Canada. Enjoy your video. As I am a HVAC Tech, I enjoy seeing how work is done in different countries. My question is why do you have a pump on a shower? I've never seen this before. Thanks for the video. Cheers

      There's isn't enough pressure in the system for the hot and cold so the pump increases the pressure giving the shower more power when in use 👍

      Thanks for the support, the water pressure is really poor due to it been on a gravity fed system. So we use a pump to boost the pressure.

    Currently in uni doing a degree; I’ve done a bit of work experience in an office and I’m slowly starting to realise hoe unfulfilling it is. Im thinking of starting a plumbing course afterwards because i want to be able to do stuff with my hands; i want to do honest fulfilling wori

      This comment is actually crazy, because I am in the exact same position now studying psychology in my 3rd year and just started to realise how miserable I’ll be just sitting behind the desk or by listening to loads of problems. Hopefully I’ll graduate and probably start a plumbing course too

    5:11 Did all your tools in the basin leave black friction marks? Also be carefully with them ceramic discs they will chip the basin if dropped in to the basin towel or dust sheet in basin starting work would prevent this

    Do you not need to sleeve the outside tap from freezing & filling the cavity?

      Always put isolation valve on the inside to isolate the water in the winter to stop freezing.

    I need some GENUINE advice, I've done the main gas courses, BUT the plumber I knew has died (covid), as soon as this covid pandemic calms down (Omicron now), I'll do my gas safe assessment (assuming I pass) what do I do ??, I have NO EXPERIENCE it's VERY unlikely someone will take me under their wing so I can learn/get some experience (it was hard in enough finding the plumber who died), any advice from you would be VERY MUCH APPRECIATED, (I've already got the veto bags and MOST tools whilst I was doing the gas course E.g. gas flue analyser , wrenches, spanners, screwdrivers ect... ect... (no a van yet )

      Iv got a combi boiler but the water pressure in the bathroom isn't that good s I was thinking of fitting a pump to help

      It’s hard to say as if it just your bathroom it could be the plumbing itself that’s restricting the flow rate, or possibly the fixtures such as your shower or you taps

    Dude would you not get a head mount for your phone? I watch a lot of tradesman channels and for people who work with their hands it makes zero sense to hold the camera. Makes the job look super awkward and is less enjoyable to watch. Love your channel by the way. Keep up the good work.

      Always ask questions, I'd rather have an apprentice ask me lots of questions mo matter how silly or stupid they are. The more keen you are the further you will go.

      Be prepared and try pass all test I mean it if u don’t u have basically failed even tho u got more chances I ducked sup in first year I’m still here out of 7 tests I passed 2

      So standard level 2 is 2 year and you will have course work and do exams throughout the year

      it seemed like the pump was on the mixed (outlet) side of the shower . never seen it done that way before but i guess it must work

      Yeah it’s not something I’ve seen done before either, we was just going a straight swap. Works quite well to be honest.

      @@SmartPipePlumbing I suppose it's all down to cost to with the likes of the Landlord or Property Owner, plastic pumps generally give up after a few years, obviously in that regard it depending on use, have an apartment rented and a plastic pump packed up... my Letting Agent who also had a rental property suggested. that the Plumber told him i should upgrade to Stuart Turner, Bronze pump with a 'Five Year' Warranty best choice i ever made sleep a lot easier...Lol...
