    Great Review, I appreciate it. I also live in NYC and would be commuting 8.3 miles each way to work. I'm curious as to how it handles the poor roads and steep hills in Upper Manhattan?

    Funny riding position when you have off-center saddle.. i wonder why did they not compensate by having the bottom bracket moved a bit to the side and having some sort of custom seatpost that would be off center. As the design is kinda nice, and probably saves a lot in manufacturing.

    Great review, thank you. Please update us on if you change the break levers. Also, could the seat post be changed to a suspension seat post?

      Will try. This is a great bike but for some reason people are not sharing liking this video and model. I strongly recommend trying one. It is that cool.

      @@ElectricVehicleSpace I will be purchasing a U4. Honbike are one of the few brands who are actually doing something new and innovative rather than just using the same Chinese imports, and at affordable pricing too. Excited to see more from the company!

    Great review! Short and concise just how I prefer it! Any issues with the bike so far? I’m looking to get one and am based in the UK..

    I think thats not actually 350w. The power seems quiet low, for 350w with pedaling it should be up to 30mph. Maybe beacuse the manufacture wants it to be lighter. Good video

      You might be thinking of a mid-drive motor? this is a hub drive, mid-drive systems have a lot more torque in the same size motors, usually 50-80% more.

    • @ElectricVehicleSpace
      @ElectricVehicleSpace  Před rokem

      Even mid drive will not reach 30 mph with 750W motor. Your math is wrong. The performance is correct and it's what to be expected.

      @@ElectricVehicleSpace , lol in your preview video, I told you 350w will struggle to make it up hills, you said I was wrong, then when you actually tried the bike on hills, there you are pedaling to make it up an incline. I notice you do a lot of trolling in your own comment sections, telling people they are wrong when they aren't, I'm guessing you trying to push the algorithms so you get more views.

    • @ElectricVehicleSpace
      @ElectricVehicleSpace  Před rokem

      @@EssPhour no, i am not. The bike is designed to work with assist. It can be set up differently. This is the way honbike designed the drive and works well. I dont have to pedal hard to reach the top of the hill. The point of the review is to share how this model works and help in finding a very good commuting electric bike for the city. If you are looking for something else than this channel is not for you.

    45 pounds? It's components don't look that big, small battery, small motor. How is it 45 pounds? Are they super thick aluminum?

    • @ElectricVehicleSpace
      @ElectricVehicleSpace  Před rokem +1

      Mate you have your numbers wrong. The most advanced mountain bikes weight between 27 to 32 pounds without battery nor motor. This is aluminum frame and magnesium wheels. Gear reduction transition that are heavy even if it is compact. The 12AH battery is not light. When you add all 44.5 lbs is super light for an ebike with this type performance. I tried over 50 various e-bikes and even the carbon one are heavier or similar weight.
